quick hello and good night to you all....
Boobs, so sorry you had a long day -- I was thinking how unfair Wall Street was to you...don't tlet that happen again!
Have a great night all -- see you around the coffee table tomorrow morning
BB I hope you said "No Early Birds" if you advertised your garage sale
Boobs, there's an idea! Mom, that never worked for me. They were always there as we put out our stuff.

Hi KMF...I missed you today.
Mom..I forgot to mention that, but around here it doesn't really matter what you say they're still outside waiting. I'm not going out until I've had my coffee or they will have to deal with the rath of Boobs.

Like vultures, those garrage sale fanatics are!
Goodnight, K.
Have a nice evening. Sorry I didn't get to post more this evening...

Boobs - even though it's spelled 'wrath', there's something VERY appropriate about the 'rath of boobs'
Around here the early birds are quite nasty!
Oh DG..I'm glad you got the "pun"..in honor of my darling Rathnait62 of course.
Now I must say goodnight friends. I'm exhausted.
Hugs and Kisses all around. xoxoxoxoxo

Night, Boobs - try to play tomorrow - it's FRIDAY
night nite BB! sleep well.
I love when you have something marked for .50 or some obscenely low price and they still want you to knock something off. Why don't I just give it to you for nothing.

That sounds like what happened the last time I went to a singles bar.
Getting sleepy here. Good night all.

Addie - I see you on the other thread - what are you still doing up?
well... the short story is that I got home from meeting my friend about 9. I was all set to go to bed and then John called. And then another friend called. And then...well, here I am. I'm just kind of waiting this day out. It ended up being a tough one.
I am back in my pink dress. It suits me better, don't you think? I can't really pull off the naughty stuff...

It seems to me your naughtiness needs to bubble to the surface organically, rather than being overt. Sorry your day has been rough. I'm here being a theatre widow while the hubby is off rehearsing.
robbie and I got a chance to PM a bit this evening. We probably shouldn't be left in the same room to ourselves much.
DG - that sound like there's an interesting story...
I was quite active with the PMs during the day.
I think I'm getting carpal-tunnel syndrome
Thanks for noticing I was here.

Oh, Addie - with virtually no exception, you are the reason I keep coming back
I don't PM and tell
Sleep might be a good thing, you know - just a thought.
What a nice thing to say.
And I respect a person who doesn't PM and tell!
I have high standards where PMs are concerned, also.
Sleep isn't cooperating tonight, and it's too late to take anything. So, I'll just tire myself out here...

Well, you shouldn't be alone - there's LOT'S of 'tired' people here
I got Papa all hot and bothered by talking about seeing Park Overall in a play tomorrow night. Something about that deep southern drawl really got him going!
When do you see John next?
LOL - there are lots of tired people here. I even ventured over to the main board where I hadn't been in a while (with the exception of today's now-deleted Timmy thread) to see what they were typing about over there.
I see John the first weekend in November. In Paris. It is the carrot dangling on the stick in front of me right now...
I think my theme song these days is Carly Simon's "Anticipation".

We can never know about the days to come
But we think about them anyway, yay
And I wonder if I'm really with you now
Or just chasin' after some finer day
Anticipation, anticipation
Is makin' me late
Is keepin' me waitin'
And I tell you how easy it feels to be with you
And how right your arms feel around me
But I, I rehearsed those lines just late last night
When I was thinkin' about how right tonight might be
Anticipation, anticipation
Is makin' me late
Is keepin' me waitin'
And tomorrow we might not be together
I'm no prophet and I don't know nature's ways
So I'll try and see into your eyes right now
And stay right here 'cause these are the good old days
(These are the good old days)
And stay right here 'cause these are the good old days
(These are the good old days)
(These are the good old days)
(These are the good old days)
(These are…..the good old days)
Sorry, couldn't help myself
I usually go over to the main boards to find Margo's posts. Lately, Mary_ethel has been starting some really good converstions, so I've read those. Some of these people REALLY know their stuff!
Did you catch my 'ward' being introduced as the interim 'boy' today? I am seriously in love with this child! Bright, articulate, engaged, aware - and just as cute as a button! I want to adopt him and make sure he marries well

Hi, Undi
I'm telling you, this kid makes me feel like a proud grandfather - "He's such a GOOD boy!" As I said earlier today, he gives me hope that not all is lost.
