Hey DG, Undi, et al...
Just checking in before vacuuming and going to bed. The upstairs neighbors are still up bumping around so I thought I'd finish my house work and be free free free from chores for teh weekend. I'm playing Scrabble with friends tomorrow night and looking forward to relaxing.
Sounds like it was an interesting day on the board. I was out of town at a meeting and really couldn't post. I did miss everyone.
Sleep well everyone and I'll type to ya all tomorrow!
Hugs to all!

Where are we going, and why am I in this handbasket?

DG - yep. That's the song! (It actually is one of my favorites!)
Pip seems just adorable - I don't want him to be taken advantage of, either! And, I'm laughing at your wanting to make sure he marries well...
Cookie - no, that doesn't sound like a good thing to do. I swear I'm still full from lunch yesterday. I had a salad at lunch and a handful of peanuts in the Oak Room. And I am not in the least bit hungry...
Undi - Timmy. I just have to laugh.

There's a couple of 'em running around on this board - I think it's the theatre thing that draws them
There's another one, Zepka, who has caught my eye. I love it when they don't succomb to the stereotype!

Beacon - a chore free weekend and Scrabble - sounds wonderful.
Cookie - feeling better?
I'll be thinking of you tomorrow when I swing by the Buttercup Bake Shop to pick up a birthday cake and cupcakes for the weekend. They're so delicious.

Undi - I believe Jackson plays in Sedona, AZ each year for some environmental thing - it's apparently quite the event. I'm sure last night was spectacular!

Addy: The frightening thing is that I can pack in the food. It's just the hour or two after consuming the amount I did today, that isn't pleasant. But this too, shall pass...
For instance, my mouth just watered a little, at the mention of Buttercup baked goods...
Cookie, thy name is gluttony!

DG ... I'm still trying to decide on a song for that. I need to get some chorus boys and we can do "Take Off With Us" from "All That Jazz" That should get these so called "straight men" crossing over to our side of the street.
