morning joeyjoe. have fun in White Plains.
DG..there are some really HOT guys around here. A friend of mine came down here for a visit one day and wanted to know how I get any work done with all these cute boys. I just stare straight ahead.
Ok Mom..we'll leave a few of them for your friend. She better not be choosey though.

True - but then there's always Hugh!

But DG..Hugh's married already...and if he ever got divorced I don't think there will be a chance in hell that anyone would be able to get past Addy for him.

I don't smoke. In fact, I toyed with smoking when I was a kid, but when I moved to California where buying cigarettes by minors was prohibited (this was '67 I think, I would have been 12) I dropped the habit. (Considering how many bad habits I have now that I CAN'T seem to drop, I got lucky!)
I remember the Lark commercials. (The truck driving by with "Show Us Your Lark" passing people who just so happened to have packs of Larks with them while the music played "The William Tell Overture".) I also remember the parody for Geno's Pizza Rolls with a Lark smoker objecting to the use of the music and the Lone Ranger coming up behind him saying; "Funny, I've been meaning to talk to you people about the same thing!"

Welcome LM55...pull up a bean bag chair and relax with us. Enjoy a cup of coffee and a cinnamom bun while we wait for the rest of the adults to get up to play. This is our quiet time. Enjoy the morning.

Are you really getting 'quiet time' today, Boobs? You've already been on longer than yesterday, so it must be a little better

It's still quiet right now DG...and I must've done a good job yesterday with all the craziness, because I have no customer breaks...whew !!! So far it's starting out to be a nice day.

And it's Friday! Was it raining this morning?

Not yet DG. It's a gray morning...looks like rain is coming, but warmer than it's been here the past couple of mornings.

Welcome lensnan! I don't smoke either. This is the thread where the adults hide!

I like hiding behind the smoke. I like that fog look across my aging face.

Still gray here. More rain coming in. There is a chance that the game could get cancelled.

A friend emailed this to me and I found it funny, so I wanted to share....
Is it just me or does anyone else find it absolutely amazing that the U.S. government can track a cow born in Canada almost three years ago, right to the stall where she sleeps in the state of Washington, and determine exactly what that cow ate.
They can also track her calves right to their stalls, and tell you what kind of feed they ate.
But they are unable to locate 11 million illegal aliens wandering around in their country, including people that are trying to blow up important structures in the U.S.
As soon as they enter the country, every illegal alien should be given a cow.

Good morning.
I just got to the office after taking some clients to a 'breakfast' over at the Today Show - where Sarah Hughes was performing on the Rockefeller Rink. (I think it JUST aired). We were able to watch her 'rehearse' and then meet her for a few minutes. What a charming young woman. K, I was thinking of you!
Anyway, it was a lovely way to start the day.
