Don't worry Mom...we swear too...although it's funny to hear Dad can't say "God dammit". I always tell Him that it's not nice to take His own name in vain.

Garage sale was fine Mom...not lots of people, but the people who did show up wanted everything for nothing. UGH !!! I did get rid of some big items, so it wasn't a total waste. It was supposed to go until 5 o'clock, but by 3:30 I gave up..and in perfect time becuase as I was wrapping it all up it started to pour. Whew !!!

Hi mom. Hi Boobs. And hi to anyone else who may be lurking at the moment.
Nice weekends? I'm curled up on my couch with my fleece blanket and a cup of tea, and have been LAZY, LAZY, LAZY the last few hours. Heaven!

I'm still craving Friendly's Butter Crunch ice cream... I thought about it a few days ago and still haven't been able to get my hands on any. Must make it my mission this week...
Yes, I'm in a very cozy mood. I watched a DVD, took a nap, and an just enjoying some quiet time at home.

mom - I LOVE Barbara Cook! I can imagine how emotional she must have been with the loss of her long-time partner/collaborater recently.
Just ordered Chinese for dinner...too lazy to cook tonight. And, I saved a cupcake for dessert. Yum.

I saw that K popped in earlier. John said the weather hasn't been great... which is too bad when you want to spend some time enjoying the southern California sunshine for a few days...

Yes addy it was quite emotional for her. (see earlier in this thread, I was chatting with DG about it) But wow what a voice.
She had a small break down when she first came on. This was the first time doing the show since Wally Harper's death. Later on in the show she had a nother breakdown when she started "What'll I Do?"She shared stories of her early days in NY. Had a couple of "senior moments" which she just loved and the house ate it up!
Of course she sang "Glitter and Be Gay" WOW in her prime this lady must have really ROCKED the house as Conegonde. One song I wish she had sung was "I Can't Say No" But all in all a wonderful evening.

Night, Boobs.
mom, it sounds wonderful. She's so classy, and such an extraordinary entertainer. Glad you loved it.
I'm popping in and out - watching the Yankees and trying to get organized for another busy week. The weekends go too quickly!!

Time for me to wrap things up for the night...
Just wanted to let you all know that the birthday gift to my niece was a BIG HIT! My brother in law caught the reaction on video... did you hear the scream? She's already figuring out what outfits to pack. (Is she related to me, or what?? We're not going until the Spring!)
The entire birthday weekend was wonderful... nothing like a fun time with family!

Mom: That other perky blonde also assayed the role of Marian the Librarian, thanks to ABC and the Wonderful World of Disney.
How did the cakes go over with the AdDad and the rest of the family, Addy?
Glad to hear the garage sale is over and done with, Boobs... Nothing like getting rid of stuff to make room for more stuff!
