My weekend was okay. Tried to go shopping on Saturday, and just ended up with more grooming products. Though I helped enable a friend to buy much more stuff for herself. Polished off half a dozen of Beard Papa cream puffs by myself, and worth every bit. Repented today by hitting the gym and doing various chores.
But come to think of it, I haven't had a cupcake in a while. I may have to remedy that...
Still, I can't imagine Buttercup's baked goods not being a hit. They are the best I've sampled so far, and I've sampled quite a few...

Helping friends buy stuff is always fun...
Cream puff, thy smell and taste is divine!
I went for a run this morning - so have just a tad less guilt about the 8 billion calories I consumed this weekend... Tomorrow it's back to salads. And sushi.

bway!
You will ALWAYS be the boy! You'll have to bring it up with DG, though. He's taken over in Nina's absence.
How the H*LL are you??
You have been missed!

the return of the prodigal coffee boy!
will there be a rumble to decide who is head boy?
Egging friends to buy stuff is definitely fun. "I don't need it..." "Yes, but you WANT it. You really want it!"
And I am trying to get my hands on their caramel cream puff. Alas, they have not had that the days I've visited...

Don't tell me they make a caramel cream puff...that is NOT good for me to know!
Is there just the one store (I know the one on the Upper West) - or are there others in the city? (again, probably not something I should know...less info about cream puffs the better...)

There is supposedly on near Bryant Park. And I definitely know of the one down by Astor Place. They have coffee flavoured, green tea flavoured, and chocolate flavoured cream puffs. In addition to the elusive caramel. But all of these are "daily specials" in addition to the manna from heaven that is the regular vanilla.

Undi - I have the BEST blanket for cold winter feet.
It's a fleece blanket and the bottom of it is folded under to make a pocket for the feet - so they never end up sticking out the bottom and getting cold. It also has a small pocket on the front of the blanket for the TV remote control. I got it from someone at TV Guide. It's the best!

Where is DG? Lemme at him! Lemme at him!
It's just not fair to demote me in my most demoralizing moments...no money,no computer, getting and then losing workshops...not fair, I tells ya!

bway - don't think of it as being demoted.
You've actually been promoted to Management. You no longer have to do the actual work - you can just train and direct the new guys...

We would never demote the always cherished bwaysinger... But there is that interim coffee boy that was needed to make the rounds for Nina...
Addy: That was a really smart invention. The pocket for feet. Bunching up a blanket does not have the same effect... But the down comforter is on the bed.
With respects to the cream puffs, sharing is caring! :) But I cannot confirm the Bryant Park location. Just the Astor Place one.

Hmm, I like that. So I'm like "The Boy Master." That's a title I like.
Oh, the workshop thing...it's sort of, you know, industry so it's best not discussed here. Let's have coffee.

Cookie - you are so generous! Thank you for sharing the cream puff news. I may have to take a little stroll during lunch tomorrow and see what I can find...
Speaking of managment and comforters and beds... time for me to try to get some sleep. I have a 7:30 meeting tomorrow morning. What joy!
Bway - come back soon. It's not the same here without you. EDIT - Yes. Coffee. SOON!!!!!
Undi and Cookie - chat with you tomorrow

Too bad I can't get a ticket to just the post-show reception because I have rehearsal until 9:45 tomorrow - but would love to support Playwrights Horizons...
