Morning, everyone! "Imminent departure toward rapture"??Smokin! I got an immediate flashback to the Christian discussion yesterday, DG!Smokin! I can easily see Addy swept up to her just reward leaving the rest of us sinners behind!Smokin!

I'm seeing "'Night Mother" on Sunday.

Oh, Boobs it's such a powerful performance! I can't wait to hear what you think.

I found both performances to be extraordinary! Brenda Blethyn's range of emotion was so in the moment, and Edie Falco portrayed the serenity and sense of purpose that comes with such a decision perfectly. Their interactions were so real. It was such an emotional journey, but one well worth taking. I'm going to see it again on the 19th. I saw the original, but am drawn to this production because of all the life that 'happened to me' since it was last on stage.

Addy, I saw the original too with Kathy Bates and loved it and I can't wait to see this production. I Love both of these actresses. I'm running out for drinks afterwards.

We're seeing a small production of Cymbeline tomorrow night (which should be interesting given the recent turn of events) and then we have that fabulous Actor's Fund benefit performance Saturday night.

Hello Pip - I'm back to the land of the living Smokin!

Oooh BB yes you will have to post your thoughts. That on is also on my short list! Too many shows and too little time!

DG - did I tell you about my experience at I AM MY OWN WIFE on Sunday? As luck would have it, I was seated in the 'friends and family' section. Susan Mays, Jefferson's wife was on one side of me, and Moises Kaufman was seated next to my friend Mark. Doug Wright was directly behind us, and he was so generous with his time and attention. During intermission I spoke with him for a while about the play and future plans. I kept thinking that I wish you had been there!

Addy - well, I certainly wish I had been, too! I try not to remember that Robert said I should go by myself. Well, that evening we actually had our accountant over to update all our trusts and powers of attorney, so it was an important thing to be here for - especially since we don't know what the future now holds. At least we know we have averything in order, and that here in California, at least, we can have a life as close to 'normal' as you can get.

Glad you're back, DG! You had me worried yesterday!

I'm well, Boobs, thanks.

Hope you have a safe trip, Addy! I assume you'll be able to post from across the pond once in awhile?

DG..did I tell you at that performance I was lucky that the lovely Undiscovered was sitting right next to me. I was even luckier than Addy. Smokin!
We discussed her future plans for employment. Smokin!

Smokin!

Well, Rath,

Bboobs has shirked his grave digging duties once again and is hanging out on the Eddie Varley thread waiting for RSR to post the junior high pics of Mr. V...

I warned Bboobs that you would not be pleased with the delay.

A spanking just may be in order here... (But you didn't hear it from me!)

It's murky, rainy, and about 45 degrees here, so warm apple cider sounds good to me, too, beacon! The glazed donuts are still warm! Here you go!
#16618

Smokin!

I would love a glazed donut too, Pip, darling.

Are you telling me, beacon, that Boobs has not yet finished digging the grave he started days ago? Lordy.

Thanks Pip!

This really hits the spot...

Now, if you can just work your magic and make my files replace themselves in their proper drawers I would be most grateful...that just takes a twitch of your nose, right? :o)

DG...an extra tip for Pip this morning. Please ad it to my tab.

I hope you all noticed my icon of Patty Duke and Helen Keller, reminding us to send warm thoughts Ms. Duke's way today as she recovers from bypass surgery.

Rath,

Nice pic--and yes, good thought to Patty and her family.

Now, as for Bboobs, you'd better go haul him out of the EV thread. He's just messing around and throwing candy around with SOMMS waiting for the new pictures of EV to post.

Rath - I was just going to comment on your icon pic - rarely is the word 'icon' so appropriate!

Beacon - as always, I am completely motivated to take perfect care of Pip, who continually proves he is to be treasured and protected.

Okay, that Eddie Varley thread is a kindergarten class gone out of control! I'm not stepping foot in there again. *wipes forehead*
