I have to go. I have a million things to do in the next few hours. Have a fun evening folks.
We'll miss you Nina until then.
Later Nina! have a good one or two if its good!
So you want some childhood memories. I grew up in Puerto Rico ( as one of the many Jewish families that ended up there from the castro revolution). So many of the shows you are all talking about I used to watch in Spanish. So they didn't quite have the same appeal to me. Till later when the island got cable. Then I wouldn't miss The Jeffersons, All in the family, and I discovered Mary Tyler Moore.
Oh and of course; "Los Picapiedras" ( the Flinstones). I loved hat show in Spanish. And "Perdidos en el espacio" ( Lost In Space). Shows that never had a appeal for me in their original language.
Dame...Did they sing the Theme songs in Spanish too? I would love to hear Archie & Edith singing in Spanish.
All In the Family we got in english. Once we got cable in the island.
That would be funny to hear in Spanish
We used to get Gilgans Island in Spanish. But I never knew the words.
OK That thought just sent shivers down my spine! chie and Edith singing in Spanish?
I wonder how meathead and stieffel translates?
All In The Family was a ittle to racy for Puerto Rico. It was never aired in Spanish there.
Did they air "Chico and the Man" there???
in english on cable. Not very popular over there. Oh and boobs; your recipe for mojito chiken was delicious.

Dame...
So good to see you. The Flintstones in Spanish! That'd be a kick to see. I loved when the had "guest stars" like Ann Mod-rock...or when a Stone Age version the Steven's family from Bewitched became neighbors...Or the great Kazoo (is that right?)
And, of course, at the other end of the spectrum: The Jetsons!

I was playing cards last night and used quite a few Astro "Ruh Oh's" as he played me....the Jetsons were one of my favorite cartoons...
Glad the recipe worked out well for you Dame. You know I can never let a fellow Hussy down.

Mr. Peabody and Sherman...I LOVED THEM
And the Fractured Fairy Tales
And, of course, Rocky and Bullwinkle. The satire was incredible. I loved Natasha saying "Moose and Squirrel" in her Russian accent "doll-ink!"
