So far its been easy - single orders. Hopefully there's not a big rush of people this morning it takes so much concentration just to keep the coffee from sloshing around in one cup. Oops - hopefully I didn't get any on you - just take it out of my tip.

Boobs said there were fringe benefits but have to tell me about them later in private.

COFFEE! I need coffee. I'm brusied , battered and beaten, i have rope burn around my neck and my forehead is black and blue. Worst of all I can't seem to get this eye makeup off. Looong day ahead!

Oh beacon, I'm involved in a production right now where there is nowhere near enough rehearsal time, the cast are all amateurs, and the director's head is clearly elsewhere. Very frustrating. I feel your pain, girl!

This production of MFL is being done by our Church. It is a "stake" production. A stake is the LDS equivalent of a small diocese. There are 8 wards (congregations) involved. The director is a friend of mine which is the reason I agreed to help with props... I'm not a particular fan of this show and this production isn't helping.

These are always a circus to do but this one is especially insane. I watched them last night and was rather horrified that the show goes on this week. Last night Higgins had virtually no British accent...

*forced grin* That which does not kill us makes us stronger, right?

Thanks for sharing my pain... Isn't it amazing that key folks can't see the forest for the trees during some of these productions?

The Ascot scene had the ladies posed as if leaning on parasols...which WERE NOT included on the props listing--and which wardrobe knew nothing about. When this was discussed with the Director she said "No. They aren't expecting parasols." I asked the cast themselves what they would be leaning on and all the women said "parasols."

RUN AWAY! RUN AWAY!

I know Beacon. It's so hard when you know what you're doing and are working so diligently, and the people who are supposed to be in charge are just not together.

The saddest part is I paid for this privilege!!

Gosh, Bboobs, I haven't seen your face light up that much in a while. LOL!

I'm sure Patrick would be too overcome by emotion to be able to sing. Please remind him that hysterical laughter and cartwheels are inappropriate until the first shovel of dirt has been tossed on the casket.
