Back to the issue at hand...
I highly doubt the FCC will throw a hissy fit about "Saving Private Ryan." My reasoning comes from a line in "South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut":
"Horrific, deplorable violence is okay, as long as they don't say any naughty words."
Imagine if Janet Jackson had killed someone live at the Super Bowl instead of flashing the crowd. I bet nobody would have batted an eye.
