Jane, do you have any confirmation of that? We were told that by an usher tonight, but then at the end of the show, the cast was still announcing the "provisional closing".

Justice, have you read Gypsy? If I recall correctly, both Gypsy and her mother were both pretty pleased with the show.
It's a beautifully written book. Read it, if you haven't.

bwaylyrc, I think you are way off base. The Alterholics are some of the nicest people I've ever met, and I've never heard of competition between any of them.
And most of them ARE adults, actually. I've only met one or two who are under 18, and most of the ABz fan base seems to be in the early to mid 20s.

Wow, I'm really late coming to this thread, as I just heard tonight.
Clive was an amazing, kind man. He will be missed greatly by his friends... I feel privileged to have known him.

There are a lot of people who collaborated on the book, but only Rachel Sheinkin (sp?) has the book credit, as has been widely reported and discussed. Many of the actors who have been with the production since the beginning have contributed to the book.

I had the pleasure of seeing Gary and Robert at the City Hall Pride Festival on Thursday night... what gracious gentlemen.
I've seen the new incarnation of La Cage twice, once in previews and opening night, and LOVED both times.
