I had a crush on Andy Williams' voice...still do.

Burt was going the bald route when his hair first started to go...MUCH sexier...so was his physique, etc.

And then he went to Loni's surgeon and it was all over.

I had a crush on Marie too. I remember the very first time I ever saw her on TV, singing Paper Roses - that long dark hair...parted in the middle...prairie dress...so adorable. And that voice!

Donnie and Marie was the only show I would sit in front of the tv without fidgeting weekly. Loved it. My mom says I would lie on the floor facing the television and wouldn't move until they said goodnight, then I'd wave at the tv, say, "goodnight, Marie", and up I was.

Oh well the Partridge Family trumped everything, with that gorgeous Shirley Jones who sang like an angel.

Friday night ABC schedule was 8:00 - Brady Bunch, 8:30 - Partridge Family, 9:00 - Donny and Marie Variety Hour.

Friday night TV ruled back then. I tolerated the Brady Bunch to get to Shirley as I remember. She had it all over that annoying in-your-face Florence.

My sister, cousins and I would do a lip sync concert to the PF on Easter and Tgiving.

I'd play the magnus organ, so that made me Laurie, I guess.
