I loved THE DONNIE AND MARIE SHOW. When I was dating my wife, her mother and grandmother would be watching it, every Friday, while I waited for my her to get ready. She'd come down, but I'd refuse to leave until the show was over. My first crush was Rosemary Clooney. I then moved to Shirley Jones, then Julie Andrews, then Ann-Margret. I loved THE ANDY WILLIAMS SHOW, though I never had a crush on him, or any man that I can recall.

I wish I was her. When I was younger, I wanted Liza to have been my birthmother who had to give me up at age 17 because her career was just beginning.

I considered using Minnelli as my stage name.

Ah - I can show you how to "paint" Minnelli. It's easier than it sounds, and fools a miriad of people. That is until you open your mouth - but that's the drag queen in me.
