Posted: 12/17/04 at 12:23amI'm glad you sent her packing my way, too. I adore this woman. I used $300 of my Vegas winnings to see her show and it was one of the most incredible experiences of my entire life. Oy, I'm getting all misty eyed just thinking about it.

I have mixed feelings about this fellow Canuck. I don't think she's weird -- having studied French in the middle of Nowhere, Quebec, I can tell you that her personality, outlook and even musical style is very Quebecois.
I think it's rather sweet she married her manager (although it's a little creepy that Renee managed her since she was little....). I just think Celine is overexposed, and sometimes she makes strange decisions (that short haircut, for example, or some of her uptempo songs -- she's a self-described balladeer, so stick with that).
