The whole point of this is to just try to not get their base to read this magazine because there are some terribly unflattering articles on her in there. Just more brilliant manipulation. Note the call for Americans to cancel their subscriptions to the notoriously liberal and biased Newsweek.

I love that this is considered "news worthy"! Stop the presses everyone Sarah Palin has a wrinkle!!!! Put it on the 6 O'clock News!

Boring stuff that no one needs to worry about. It's no wonder I don't watch the news, they put too much emphasis on what they feel is news worthy and less on what actually is!

That video is laugh-out-loud funny. The upper lip was the first thing I noticed when the magazine arrived in my mailbox. I don't think Fox News should blame Newsweek; they should be mad at Sarah for not waxing.

There was a rather unflattering cover of Cindy McCain recently as well. I thought, "Oh, she should fire her publicist AND her stylist."

Honestly, if they hadn't made such a fuss about it, I never would have noticed it because I generally do not buy magazines. But NOW I am going to get me a copy TODAY!!!!

miss p, I thought that too. I posted a thread about it a couple of days ago, but few paid attention. Granted, I did not have a lurid title referring to "Palin's Moustache." LOL!

This kind of thing always backfires. Look at how many people see movies like "The Last Temptation of Christ" simply because the fundies are protesting.

So the candidate that claims Obama is a celebrity who gets special treament from the press wants to be treated like a celebrity and get special treatment from the press?

When I got my Newsweek yesterday my first thought when I saw the picture was that she looked good for such a close up shot. It wasn't until after I watched that video did I see everything that they were talking about.

In the interest of fairness and equal time, the cover of next week's issue of Newsweek should be Joe Biden in the exact same close-up. I bet he doesn't care if his pores, blemishes and facial hair show.
