Chuck

Has anyone else been watching this new NBC show? I think it may be my favorite show of the new season. Zachary Levi is great in the title role and Yvonne Strahovski and Adam Baldwin do great supporting work as Chuck's government handlers.

It's on tonight and it's getting good. If you haven't yet watched it, give it a shot.

re: Chuck

I love this show! It's the only new show that has survived on my DVR. I'm excited for tonight's episode...

re: Chuck

I love the show.

And I think Zachary Levi is quite the hottie.

re: Chuck

I also enjoy the show. I also think Zachary Levi is a hottie, I've thought so since Less Than Perfect. He was hotter on Perfect, but does have a nice geeky quality in Chuck.

re: Chuck

Well, last night could very well have been the last episode. I really hope that's not the case, but I'm not too optimistic.

re: Chuck

I would really like to see where the show is going, especially with everything that happened. However, I do feel like it was a good way to end things if it should go that way.

I did have Subway for dinner last night to try and do my part. re: Chuck

re: Chuck

I've rewatched the last scene of the finale five times already, just for the sheer WTFery of it. Adam Baldwin's facial expressions alone are worth it. I really hope this show gets renewed, but since I enjoy it it'll probably get cancelled along with Life because television hates me. :P

re: Chuck

eatlasagna's post vanished, but he was talking about how Chuck might premiere earlier than expected. I don't care when it comes back; I'm just glad it is. I love this show so much.

re: Chuck

I love Chuck immensely, and it's the only one of my happy shows to survive the slaughter of last season, so the sooner it comes back, the better. There have been some really fun (and some admittedly horrifying) casting rumors, and I just really want to see where they go after the insane S2 finale. Oh, and more Anna Wu. I always want more Anna Wu. :)

re: Chuck

I am going through a Chuck withdrawal. They should at least come out with the season two DVDs sooooon what's taking so long?

I hear the Orange Orange is gonna turn into a Subway. Whatever keeps the show going.

re: Chuck

I remember hearing that (re the change to Subway). I agree. Whatever keeps it on the air.

As far as I know, it's still slated to come back in March, although that could change if Jay Leno crashes and burns, I guess.

re: Chuck

i need season 2 on DVD NOW! i just rewatched Season 1 on DVD and it just re-confirmed that this is a great show that nobody is watching! i've also heard some rumors that the execs are loving season 3 right now and everyone is saying it is even better than season 2! this is truly one of those shows that gets better every episode

re: Chuck

Absolutely. Season one was really great and then season two came along and the episodes just got better and better. That's one of things that worries me about the show. When the new season starts, how much longer can the new episodes top the older ones?

although that could change if Jay Leno crashes and burns, I guess.

I am hoping, sir.

re: Chuck

Chuck is never going to be a Leno replacement - it's totally an 8pm show, 9 at the most. 10pm is for more "adult" fare, traditionally. Not that I think Chuck is unsuited for adults - most days I pretend to be one - but it's hardly Southland or something.

OTOH, NBC newbies like Trauma and Mercy are also crashing and burning, so whenever Chuck does come back it may have a few timeslots to choose from, rather than being doomed to be squashed by House on Mondays.

Part of me, though, is actually hoping that NBC sticks with its original plan to reintroduce Chuck after the Olympics. The network sounded like it was building an actual promotional plan and doing everything it could to give the show the best possible chance to succeed. Better that than to have it hastily introduced next month, suspended for the holidays, and gone again for the Olympics while people forget it exists.

I came on to post that! I got the email from Amazon because I pre-ordered.

After I read that, I was thinking how impatient Americans are, not to mention the small attention spans, but then I realized that I am one. After the 2008 writers strike, I stopped watching half the shows I normally watched, so what you said makes sense. However, I don't know if people who have never seen the show before would start. I probably wouldn't.

re: Chuck

Yay! It's not quite a back 9, but a 19-episode season is more than good enough.

re: Chuck

Ooh, we have the Phantom Post Syndrome again.

I bet it was to announce it's coming back in January, right? I just read that today!

I cannot wait.

Your post didn't show up because of a BWW glitch that happens when you bump a thread.
