OF COURSE we won't bother to get Leslie to say goodbye to her daughter FOREVER. She'd rather hang out with Bobbie anyway. *rolls eyes*

That said, I was crying like a little bitch--especially when Luke broke down. I hate that she's gone. The wedding clips killed me.

Also have to reiterate how much I hate the writers. They don't know what to do with these classic characters with all of their history, and don't know how to honor them, when they return.

wow. i just watched the "luke & laura: the love story revealed"* special and i was instantly transported back to when i was 8 years old. i could not believe how many scenes from that era of GH i remembered like they were yesterday. truly classic TV at it's best.

think about it.

it was really neat (yeah, i said it, madonna, get over it) to see the few parts of the luke & laura relationship that i missed as a kid (i first remember the scotty/luke fight on the dock, but not the rape when it first happened) and the many elements of their relationship after i stopped watching the show around 1989.

leslie was at the wedding, but you already know that. the wedding aired already, right? i only watched the first scene when genie returned and have not tuned in since. from what i gather from you kids, is that laura is catatonic again.

the special just focused on l&l's relationship over the years from meeting, rape, on the run, marriage, disappearance of laura, kids, hiding out, betrayal, divorce, catatonia, and remarriage.

i even forgot that must have retuned into the show upon l&l's return in 1993 when they were running the triple l diner.

My heart broke for Luke the other day.

I CANNOT wait to see this stuff tonight!! It can wipe most of the mess that's gone on the last couple weeks out of my mind.

They should do separate specials on each:

i can tell you this. from the few minutes that i saw the actress who plays the lulu character, i can tell you i do NOT like her. i thought she was disrespectful to genie and just unaware of the legacy that is luke & laura.

i never saw amber tamblyn who played her, nor any of the other actresses who portrayed lulu, but this one leaves much to be desired.
