I loved Frisco. I was so pissed when he went off and joined the WSB. However, something good came out of that. I saw Jack Wagner in concert on June 5th, 1987. Ah, good times.

I always wished that the Soap Network would replay classic GH episodes - like when Frisco and Felicia got married.

Remember when Felicia thought Frisco was dead, but he was really in the WSB? And she married that hick Colton? Frisco was spying on her in the park during their wedding. Then they met up in the catacombs! *swoons*

GH had some great female characters, IMO. Tiffany was fabulous in a tranny/manny/Kathleen Turner-ish way. She was great and had excellent chemistry with both Robert and Sean. I loved Felicia. Even her stupid baby voice and the Aztec princess crap. Loved Heather. Loved Monica, Tracy, Lila and basically all of the Quartermaine women with the exception of Celia. Adored Laura, but I don't get all of the Leslie love. She was always crying about something. And who would want to bone Rick? He was so plastic. I also hated the whiny baby brother (Mike?) and Amy.

Oh but she was a madam with a heart of gold indeed! And she cooked up the townspeople some good eats at the diner!

Crap was always going down outside the diner. And it snowed alot.

I loved Frisco and Felicia. They lived in The Brownstone (with everyone else) in a studio apartment. They had a sleeper sofa that doubled as their bed. They had to pull it out every time they wanted to sleep or...errm..get busy (sing along now - Where do we go...all the way...from here...it's not that far...).

And I hated that dolt Colton.

Can anyone refresh me on the Terry/Laurelton scandal? I think I may have butchered it above. Blueroses? Anyone?

Yes, crap was always going down in the diner. And there was miraculously a vacancy for every new person in town right upstairs.

Re: Laurelton. God, I wish I remembered the specifics! I do remember that Bobbi's husband had a daughter Terri (Robin Bernard. Her sister was Crystal Bernard from WINGS) who had this weird history with Drs (and brothers) Kevin and Patrick O'Connor. She was involved with both romantically at one point. Apparently she witnessed some type of death? Earl Moody? Maybe she was accosted? Her grandmother came to town, someone was killed in the brownstone (hey! there were always vacancies there too, weren't there?) and Terri was found holding the knife above them. But she didn't do it, I don't think. I think Kevin did. Lucy Coe was having an affair with Kevin. I am f--king this all up royally. Sorry. Randomly spewing out memories. Maybe I can look it up, or someone has a better memory.

Anyway, I loved GH back in the day. And enjoyed it in the nineties, too, though I didn't watch regularly (loved Lois and Ned, Luke and Laura's umpteenth reunion, Robin and Stone, Sonny, who was THE SEX...) I actually liked all of the ABC soaps. Ryan's Hope, The Edge of Night (PREACHER!), All My Children (actually liked it better than GH! *sighs* Greg, Jenny, Angie, Jessie, Tad, Nina and Cliff, Palmer and Daisy, Benny and Donna...

Lesley used to be da bomb. Back in the day, when they used to let her wear eyeliner. Now, they're afraid to emphasize those gorgeous Bambi eyes - someone might be attracted to a grandma.
