Posted: 2/22/07 at 11:19amIt took them two years to replace Amber, and this is the best they could do? All Natalia has is looks. Amber was never a beauty, certainly not in the soap opera world, but to me, that proved how much she deserved to be there. I'm sure she had to be three times as good as everyone else. Natalia is stunning to look at, but my God, she's the WORST actress. She should have been a model.

She's very pretty. Sometimes I get her confused with Elizabeth. They're boring and interchangeable with their long layered hair and poutiness.
How is it that Elizabeth's hair and lip gloss remained perfect duuring the hostage situation?

Oh, she's definitely been lifted and peeled, etc. Also, her hairline seems really high. I think she's wearing a wig or some kind of piece. Bobbi is ridiculous, too. Jackie Zeman was once one of the most gorgeous women on daytime television--certainly "naturally" beautiful enough to mature well. I can understand having some nip and tuck work done because of the nature of their professions...but to have it look so blatantly fake (a face that doesn't move, lips that look inflated, etc.) is just ridiculous. Jane Elliot is past middle aged and she looks fantastic. Take a cue, ladies! Great hair, great dresser, carries herself well.

I wonder if the fact that our Jane has had no "work" has to do with the fact that she took so much time away from the business to raise her family. She lived in the "real world" long enough to not feel the pressure that the others do.
Charleson looks like she had new teeth put in and her lips are now stretched too thin. And her makeup has not been good.

I thought it blasphemous for them to even write in Alan doing the bear shtick with this Emily.
I was surfing around the other day and found these Nurses Ball memories:
Real Dad Russ showed up for this one:

Posted: 2/23/07 at 3:08pmI don't know where Edward got to. It's a little worrisome that they're making a big deal about Jason going to get those wounds looked at. Perhaps he won't make it back in time.

Posted: 2/23/07 at 3:23pmCan I just ask...what's with Spinelli's HAIR? It's disgusting, and not at all hipster or whatever they are going for. Ugh.

Sounds like Edward's been sick - that must be why he's been off-camera.
And yeah, blue - I echo your DAMMIT! Skye gets to see him TWICE and Jason not at all?? That's messed up. Tracy needed more time with him too.

I have a feeling they're setting it up so Jason winds up being hit with remorse and regret, etc. Basically, another excuse for a Jason storyline...not sure where it will go. Going after Craig was pointless--see what the thirst for revenge got him? Of course,we know Jason and Sonny are in the "good" mob and Alcazar and Craig are in the "bad mob" but you know what I mean!
I hate Skye. But the Q's are being really hypocritical by shunning her as this evil mob moll while lionizing Jason. I don't get it.
Alan's scenes have been kind of difficult for me...I cried yesterday. Not because it's Alan but because my father was in a Cardiac ICU so many times in a weakened state. It's very ahrd to watch. Alan really did a beautiful job.

Oh, sweetie - sorry. That must have been hard for you, because we're emotionally attached to these people in a small way.
Well, the Q's are pissed about Alcazar because he's involved in this whole thing. Although I'm sure if Jason was the one in Alcazar's situation, Monica would still worship him.
I was really touched by the real hug he gave her in Alan's room. That was so sweet. He really does care about her.

It was nice to see Jason sans hair gel for once. He played his scene with Alan prety nicely, I felt. There was actually some emotion.
She's a great actress, but I am too infatuated with Monica's wig to notice anything else when she is onscreen. It's sitting entirely too high upon her head. Look how far up the bangs are...you can see the darker color underneath. It's really strange.
I loved Jonathan Jackson, but this guy who plays Lucky is really, really gorgeous. I find myself looking forward to his screentime! Liz sure made a quick turnaround huh? Also, she had the perfect opportunity to tell him everything but blew it.

I think Liz is just going for safety. She doesn't want to raise her kids alone, Lucky seems to be handling sobriety well (and she doesn't want to push him back over the edge), and she does love him.
I love Monica, but yeah, she's looking different lately and it's distracting. I admit to even thinking Natalia was decent last night.

Did you guys hear what the cast had to say about Stuart Damon's(Alan) firing? The actress who plays Elizabeth says she doesn't understand it at all. The actress who plays Robin said something like "It's cruel, irresponsible, and disgusting. And that's on the record."
I hope they respond to the backlash about his firing by having it later revealed that AJ helped Alan fake his death and that they are secretly living together somewhere and bonding before returning to Port Charles. Wishful thinking, but I want both Alan and Alan Junior alive and in Port Charles!
I think Spinelli will grow on you guys. He's so cute and funny. I love his chemistry with everyone. His scenes with Alexis, Jason, and Lulu have been the best. Spinelli and Lulu's chemistry by far surpasses her chemistry with Dillon (and I used to be a Dillon/Lulu fan). He needs to stop jerking Georgie around.

OMG, Effie. Roseanne looks beautiful in your av! I love her so.
Anyway, sorry, but doubt I'll be coming around re: Spinelli. When he says The Blonde One, The Goddess, Stone Cold, The Valkyrie, etc...plus that hair, the bad acting. Ugh. I can't take it. I like when he interacts with Tracy, though. It's funny when she calls him Spaghetti. :) I don't want to see Lulu with him. I don't particularly want to see her with Dillon, either, though. Not sure who she'd gel with. Maybe Jason. She wouldn't lose her identity around him like Sam does (which Rath pointed out to me early on, and I've been seeing it lately).
Yes, I've read that the cast was very upset about Stuart Damon. Who can blame them? It's terrible! I hope Gloria Monty haunts the f-ck out of these stupid-ass writers. Alan and AJ alive is a great thought. Or maybe he's just stuck in that faraway place with Robert, Anna, Frisco, Felicia, Sean, Tiffany and the other legacy characters.

Posted: 2/27/07 at 1:00pmRath, a couple friends of mine went Sunday night. Tony and Stephen DeRosa did Timeless To Me with Tony dressed as Edna!! That alone, would've been worth the price of admission for me.
