OMG, Effie. Roseanne looks beautiful in your av! I love her so.
Anyway, sorry, but doubt I'll be coming around re: Spinelli. When he says The Blonde One, The Goddess, Stone Cold, The Valkyrie, etc...plus that hair, the bad acting. Ugh. I can't take it. I like when he interacts with Tracy, though. It's funny when she calls him Spaghetti. :) I don't want to see Lulu with him. I don't particularly want to see her with Dillon, either, though. Not sure who she'd gel with. Maybe Jason. She wouldn't lose her identity around him like Sam does (which Rath pointed out to me early on, and I've been seeing it lately).
Yes, I've read that the cast was very upset about Stuart Damon. Who can blame them? It's terrible! I hope Gloria Monty haunts the f-ck out of these stupid-ass writers. Alan and AJ alive is a great thought. Or maybe he's just stuck in that faraway place with Robert, Anna, Frisco, Felicia, Sean, Tiffany and the other legacy characters.

Posted: 2/27/07 at 1:00pmRath, a couple friends of mine went Sunday night. Tony and Stephen DeRosa did Timeless To Me with Tony dressed as Edna!! That alone, would've been worth the price of admission for me.

I can see how Spinelli could annoy people, but no way is the actor bad! Hopefully you'll come to love him as I do. If you want to talk bad acting let's talk that abomination of a character I shouldn't mention (Courtney) or Emily. Or Milo. How about Maurice Bernard's lazy acting?
I think the writers are going for a Spinelli/Lulu/Dillon triangle and I think they are going to send Georgie off into the sunset. Sadness. I remember when the teen scene was Georgie, the original Maxie, and their ever changing cousin Lucas. I actually talked to the actor who played Guy on Myspace. Anyways, they should keep Georgie around and give her a real storyline instead of being Dillon's dumping ground.
Lulu and Jason? Oh no! Jason turns any woman he is with into a sniveling twit. Sam has NO identity outside of Jason and she has even said that line "I am NOTHING without Jason". That dumb ho does not deserve to be Alexis' daughter.
Although I do love me a little bit of Liz and Jason.

Girly, I wish I could have gone!!!
Spinelli has had plenty of time to grow on us. Ain't gonna happen. And I know the difference between bad writing and bad acting and he suffers from both.
Lulu and Jason together would PISS ME OFF.

Effie, I just thought it could be interesting because she'd maybe be the ONLY girl in town who was a challenge to Jason. I don't ever see Lulu losing her identity to a man. Jason likes the ones who need r escuing, I guess. The only man who should ever rescue Lulu is her daddy (because she really needs a father figure), and he just did.

Posted: 2/27/07 at 2:21pmI started watching the show after Alexis' sister died, so I just saw the scenes on YT where Alexis tells off Sonny and Jason at the funeral. Have you guys seen this? Nancy Lee Grahn is AMAZING. She should be the star of this show.

Are we fans of Alexis here? Goody! Did you see the scenes she submitted for the Emmy's? She submitted the scenes where she confronted Ric about having sleazy sex with Sam. I think she should have sent the scenes where she screamed "THIS SUCKS!" after losing her hair. Reminds me of when my mom had breast cancer. I wonder if that scene is on YT yet...
I LOVE Jane Elliot. I first saw her when she brought Dillon to town and then left. I was so thrilled when I read that she was coming back full time. They should really take advantage of having such a talented comedic and dramatic actress there.
Random: Is Tony Geary gay?

I believe Geary is gay but not out. He lives half the year in Amsterdam, so you can connect the dots.
We are fans of Nancy Lee Grahn on this thread - perhaps me most of all! I want to have her babies. I am so in love with her. Jane Elliot too - having her return was one of the best decisions that executive staff has ever made.

Posted: 2/27/07 at 3:17pmVery swell. What did you think of the Dobson storyline? A lot of people thought it was ridiculous, but I thought it was hilarious! Loved seeing Nancy do comedy and portray the deep love Alexis has for Kristina. Have Skye and Alexis ever reconciled over that whole situation?
#1290re: Classic General Hospital
Posted: 2/27/07 at 3:28pmI thought the Dobson storyline went on too long, and became an embarrassment. She does do comedy equally as well as drama, that's for sure! She's an amazing character and a stunning actress.

Posted: 2/27/07 at 3:41pmI have suspected TG of being on our team for a while now. I'm 19, but that doesn't mean I would push him out of bed. Is this wrong?

#1298re: Classic General Hospital
Posted: 2/27/07 at 4:12pmI don't know - she sounded fine yesterday - her voice has always been a little scratchy since she came back a couple of years ago.

"Has there ever been a gay character on GH?"
Most of them have been recurring.
Laura had an assistant, Elton, that was gay.
There was that teacher that Elizabeth mistakenly accused of raping her.
John Hanley played by Lee Mathis. He was the character that always helped Lucy with the Nurses Ball. I always looked forward to their scenes together. I remember reading an interview with him where he mentioned that thanks to GH and Gloria Monty, he worked enough to keep up the health insurance that's provided to actors in the union.
Also, don't forget the short lived Lucas Jones storyline. That sort of fell by the wayside.
Just watched today's episode. Have your tissues nearby.
