that was already well after my time of watching GH, but it sounds like it was an amazing storyline.

the early 80s seems to be the time i remember best thanks to my babysitter who wouldn't let me or my sisters watch anything else.

It was. I was also more of a GHer in the '80s, but I did catch some of the '90s storylines. The BJ/Maxie stuff, Sonny and Brenda, Ned and Lois, etc.

i thought it had more of a swanky name? like the name of that other club in the early 80s. something with a "d" i think.

Wasn't it just "The Disco"? Or something with Disco in it?

You guys are making me feel really old with your 80's-90's watching of GH.

maybe it was just "luke's place" and "the disco" who knows?

Oh, you know what? I think the blues club he opened with Sonny in the 90s was called Luke's.

good times were had by all at the campus disco. nothing like a little vodka and aggravated assault to help you wind down.

what was the thing with the boat? was that went scotty found out about luke and laura? didn't luke punch scotty and he fell in the water and everyone thought scotty was dead?

That's when Luke was supposed to marry Jennifer Smith, Frank's daughter. Scotty had found out about Luke and showed up there.

I wish I could watch all these episodes again!

In my excitement in remembering, I forgot to write that Scotty was the one that punched Luke, Luke fell overboard, surfaced a bit later, and that's when Luke and Laura went on the run.

Luke did punch Scotty when he showed up at the mayor's mansion at Luke and Laura's wedding. Luke jumped down from the 2nd floor porch and tackled Scotty. You might've weaved storylines together!

i knew that luke and laura went on the run and (in my mind) it made sense that they might have done that since luke was being blamed for killing scotty (who wasn't dead).

i just make-up my own storylines!

I haven't watch GENERAL HOSPITAL, since Audrey (Hardy) (March) Baldwin was on trial for the murder of her son's baby-sitter, Mrs. Nelson; and, the phone at the hospital was answered, "7th floor nurses station, Mrs. Brewer." Jesse Brewer was aptly named, as her main contribution to the hospital was brewing coffee.

At one time, the 7th floor nurses station was the whole hospital! With the board hanging there where the room numbers would light up, the elevator to the right, Steve's office door to the left, and the medicine room in the back.

Bet you didn't know she'd once been tried for the murder of her husband.

I got into Port Charles, too. Had to get my Lucy Coe fix somehow!
