I don't know if she ever did. I think in the later years, she "pined" for him, but as far as I know/remember, were just very good friends.
She was married to Peter Taylor at one time, but then the husband that got murdered later on, came back. Peter ended up with a woman named Diana, they hired a young Heather Grant to work for them and voila! You know where that goes!

Posted: 7/13/06 at 2:18pmI tried to watch the show, a couple of months ago and found it, unwatchable. I do watch GUIDING LIGHT, though. Mostly, because a friend of mine is on it. But, the acting is, overall, superior on GL, compared to other soaps.

Well, I didnt take the picture Blue, but if it was a onesie, I'd have ta spank him
! His hair was a little ridiculous back then...but whose wasnt? Everyone had a Mary Richards' "hair bump" because "the wethead was dead."

Posted: 7/13/06 at 2:25pmI've never seen Guiding Light, JohnBoy. I can't speak to the quality of GH these days--I haven't watched it in years. But in it's heyday--the '80s--nothing came close to GH and All My Children, IMO.

ABC ruled from 1978 thru the mid 80's, Blue, you're right.
Days and Y&R did have moments, but the ABC block was hard to beat.
My favorite though was One Life to Live...the men were cuter and Judith Light cried...ALL THE TIME!

I loved her, too. She did cry all the time. She was married to the doctor and was secretly a whore, right? I also loved the Tina/Cord storyline, and Vicki/Nicki. I also LOOOOOOVED the "crossover" action...when an ABC character appeared as the same person on another soap (i.e. Delilah from OLTL visiting All My Children to design a dress for Daisy Cortlandt!), Anna from GH popping up in Pine Valley on All My Children.
Any chance Felicia and Frisco will be back?

Posted: 7/13/06 at 2:37pmWhen I did watch it, in the late 60's and early to mid 70's, I thought it was great. In the 80's, it was fairly camp; but fun. Now...? How does my not liking it now, put me in the wrong thread? Is the current GH, classic?

Yes...and the evil Marco Dane was her pimp, and they both won Emmys.
Dorian and Vicky together on screen was terrific too.
I stopped watching before Frisco...I know!
Here is what Shell is doing today, telling you how to recycle your clothes! I bet there is a chapter on bedazzling!

Shell should team up with Tana from The Apprentice 3!
Marco Dane! My God, how could I forget him? And I loved Dorian. Robin Strasser is an excellent actress.
Okay, enough. I feel like I'm cheating on General Hospital.

No, didn't have that, but I do have a GH mug, a keychain, a GH coffee table book - General Hospital: The Complete Scrapbook and the book, Robin's Diary. Oh and GH Trivia Cards.

Yes, blue.
I remember Diana!
I believe Shell Kepler made a fortune from selling her tacky clothes on TV. Never had to work on GH again, although she used to show up once a year or so.
I HATED Lucy, so nay to Port Charles.

This is my favorite thread ever! I loved GH back in the 70s (I was just a kid:) when Monica who was married to Jeff Webber (the future MacGyver!)but was in love with Rick Webber. But Rick was madly in love with Leslie. Jeff got drunk and accidently shot himself then Monica couldn't leave him while he was in a coma. Rick and Leslie went to Canada to rescue Laura Vining and bring her home. Genie Francis must have been about 15 years old! The Luke and Laura story with the Left-handed boy was my all time fav.
Thanks Everyone..you've made my night..
