I don't know about sourdough bread, but his autobiography was surprisingly well-written considering his age at the time. But I can't think of anything in it that screams "I should be in Congress".

But more power to him, I guess.

His "San Francisco" values? Meaning, believing in marriage equality? Equal rights? I'm not sure why he would want to run in a state that had gay marriage banned less than two years ago. If he thinks he can change the people or that law...he's dreaming
