i just bought this earlier today and i remembered how much i love it. its very entertaining, especially tim curry.

great movie, and here's a great scene she does:


Colonel Mustard: Well, you've paid the blackmail. How many husbands have you had?

Mrs. White: Mine, or other womens'?

in one of the possible endings, mr green is an undercover FBI agent. he says in the beginning that he is gay:

Mr. Green: Very funny.

Not at all . . . and besides, even if you had searched, you would have had to go through pages and pages of posts from the Clue character game thread before you would have found that other one. I just remembered the discussion from back then and thought you'd be interested to read it - didn't mean to imply that you shouldn't have started this thread.

Heh, I love the "no meaning yes?" dialogue from it. It's a fun movie, although I can't watch it more than a couple times a year without getting bored.

why isnt the musical version of Clue based on the movie with all of it's great lines and almost cultish following??? it seems like it would be an off-bway hit and maybe a small success on bway using the movie as source material.

the whole "1+2+1" thing is great!!

wadsworth: "there are no more bullets in that gun *line i dont remember* 1+2+1."
ms. scarlett: "thats only 5"
*goes on for a sec and i dont remember how it goes*
wadsworth: "yes, but if you count 1+2+1+1, not 1+1+2+1 then..."
ms. scarlett: "OH SHUT UP!!"

*after scarlett is arrested*

scarlett: "wadsworth, dont be mad at me for trying to shoot you"
wadsworth: "frankly scarlett, i dont give a damn"
*fires gun and a bullet shoots out*

AMAZING MOVIE!!!!!! loved it the day I first saw it, which was about 6 years ago. MADELIN KAHN IS BRILLIANT!!!! (I can't stress that enough)
