I was watching a little of the MTV CHOOSE OR LOSE thing and they said that Bush won Florida (I think they are getting their info from CBS)

try following the la times, they show right on the map what the precentages reported in are. ya just drag yer mouse over the state and see where it's falling.

Addy - that's what I've talked about before. Right now, looking at the election map (which is really only a clearer vision of what we've seen for some time) I'm not encouraged. Politically incorrect as it is, I see people who live in high population centers - who have HAD to learn how to live with others of different cultures, values and thinking - voting one way, while those others who choose to wall themselves off and keep everyone at bay out of fear voting another.

And I am NOT willing to go amongst them to try and show them that fear and greed are not the answer to anything.

I'm afraid I'm ending up where I really didn't want to go - looking out for myself and those of like mind, and ignoring the others.

Looks like it's all over for Kerry. I just can't understand it. How could so many exit polls in so many states be so wrong? *scratches head* How could someone who can barely form a coherent sentence, and who lost all three debates, get so many votes? *scratches head again* How can someone who has deceived so many people garner enough support to win an election? What will it take for the majority of people to wake up and realize what a mess this country is in? I'm at a loss for words. I'm physically ill. It's going to take me longer to get over the loss of this election than the last one. I've just about lost all hope for this country. I'll never under estimate the stupidity and ignorance of the American public again.

It's too upsetting and emotional to follow the news at the moment anyway... I shall keep my fingers crossed and hopefully wake up to 'better' news.

DG, ...and I am willing to dive into them to try to understand why they think the way they do, and to try to help them look at things a different way.

If I can change even one person's mind - then they can change one person's mind - and so on.

I suppose I am eternally optimistic. And I am fiercely determined to make a difference.

I know you guys don't get Canadian Broadcasting Co, but right now CBC is reporting that we're at 249-207.

Apparently a few newworks are on the verge of calling Ohio for the Bush column.
