Roxy and Dollypop were even at Ford's Theater seeing Our American Cousin the night Lincoln was shot!

Roxy said, of Lincoln, "Stick a fork in him. He's over," but Dollypop was only upset that John Wilkes Booth didn't stop to stagedoor.

It is said that afterwards, Dollypop published a piece in which he stated there was no way the "handsome and charming Mr. Booth" could have committed such a heinous act, because he had been so nice during the interview, and didn't even complain when Dollypop kept putting his hand on his thigh.

According to Dollypop, little Elizabitch had such a massive tantrum since the play was interrupted and that's totally not professional and how dare they do that to her. From what Dollypop, along with history books say, it was even more dosruptive than the assassination.

Words don't deserve that kind of malarkey. They're innocent, neutral, precise, standing for this, describing that, meaning the other, so if you look after them you can build bridges across incomprehension and chaos. But when they get their corners knocked off, they're no good anymore…I don't think writers are sacred, but words are. They deserve respect. If you get the right ones in the right order, you can nudge the world a little.

I love how ArtC's posts continually point out how nasty we are here. It's helpful, heartwarming and hurtful all at the same time. Fortunately, it appears he works in programming that can take the "typical BroadwayWorld nasty" out of sites as terrible as this one, which he is regularly forced to abandon because of its negativity.
