Dakota Fanning as Elphaba is ALMOST better than my idea for Johnny Depp as Elphaba. Almost.

Johnathan can be the Wizard since he's so freakin' old now.

Nope.
She can take a vacation to play Valjean and Javert. Afterall, she's doing that for the movie ONLY.

Ooooooh. Got it.
She's gonna be pretty busy, then. What's her next project?

Posted: 8/29/05 at 9:41pmOh, I see. I'm surprised she doesn't have a part in the RENT movie...

I believe she was cast as Roger, Mimi, and Maureen. But a Renthead said she's blow up the set if this occured.
Rumor is, Dakota really sings "One Song Glory" in the movie, while Adam sings it on the CD (as the CD comes out first).

Posted: 8/29/05 at 9:47pmOoh, let's hope those rumors are true! Maybe she'll be Roger, Mimi, Joanne, and Collins in the Broadway show. *crosses fingers*

I heard her agent talking to someone saying the Doc Martins were too big for Dakota...
Maybe that means she'll be playing Joanne!

Posted: 8/29/05 at 9:51pmGASP! I certainly hope so! She should play Joanne and Maureen.

#39re: Dakota Fanning as Elphaba
Posted: 8/30/05 at 12:41amI just saw a preview in the theatres for her next movie...she'll never stop! And I just found out that Dakota isn't even her first name...it's Hannah! Dakota is her middle name! And what's sad is that her mom probably just decided to call her Dakota for effect and so now the poor little six year old suddenly has her name changed...just would have been tramatic for me as a kid...i dunno.

Posted: 8/30/05 at 2:06amHaha I laughed when I saw the title of this thread. She is a good young actress though, especially in I Am Sam...I think she was only like 5 when she filmed that or something but she seems so mature for someone so young.
