Damn You, Paltrow!!!

So did anyone else see how obnoxiously bored Gweneth Paltrow looked at the Golden Globes? After Emma Rossum introduced the head of the Hollywood Foreign Press, the camera got a shot of Paltrow slouching in her chair but doing her polite clap and thin smile. Ok, first off, worst acting ever from a girl who knows how to act. Secondly, why in God's name is she looking so glum? She's married to a Brittish hottie and makes $10 million every time she does a film. Yeah, her life sucks sooooooooo much.

The whole thing makes me want to watch Kathy Griffin's stand-up DVD (Allegedly) just so I can see a pro rip Paltrow apart (though I rarely need something to encourage me to watch Kathy Griffin's stuff anyway).

Girlfriend was pregnant. Give her a break.

But I love how MLP won and GP lost. It was like, so there GP! MLP's the WOman!

She was embarrassed by what she was wearing.

At least I certainly hope she was.

re: Damn You, Paltrow!!!

I don't. She has the hottest designers and stylists at her beck and call. No reason to wear a wedding cake.

Forget the dress. Every table shot of her showed her looking bored and disconnected. And she kept giving that condescending look of hers. It made me wonder how much she was "acting" during her introduction of Sir Anthony.

She always looks bored, disconnected, and condescending. Such a contrast to her mother!

I happened to be on set when she was shooting one of her first films. She was a snotty little thing then, self-absorbed and frankly, not too bright.

re: Damn You, Paltrow!!!

She actually mentioned a designer's name who had made the dress for her. I've never seen her in any other mood but bored. Even when she came to one of our opening parties with one of the actor friend of hers who was in the show.

re: Damn You, Paltrow!!!

on the other hand there was a shot of her in rapt delight during geena davis' very clever acceptance speech. perhaps it was earlier in the night. i think she was probably very nervous about doing the anthony hopkins thing. her skin looked very rosey. she was strangely elizabethan. who did the dress, Dolce and Ophelia?

I forgot the name of the designer-it wasn't a well-known one. (and you can see why).

She was probably terrified that the HFP would realize they made a terrible mistake and demand her GG back!

re: Damn You, Paltrow!!!

It seems to me that she (Paltrow) is one of those people that seems to be bored with life in general. Did anyone else catch the name that is being considered for her new baby? They announced it last night, but I have zoned it. I was just relieved it's not a member of the dietary pyramid this time!

the baby's name will be a tribute to sir antony and edgar alan poe. she will be called "Hannahbelle Lee". or "cheetoh" if it's a boy.
