She has the unenviable task of proving something didn't happen. The only *possible* explanation to why he stopped shooting is because he *must* have seen the concealed weapon. What else could it have been?

"she?" i notice "she" has rheumatoid arthritis, is an out of work college kid who can't find a job even though "she" has a high gpa, but has enough money to own a gun, and whatever else "she" needs to give "herself" relevance for the discussion at hand.

Michigan's GOP Governor Rick Snyder vetoed a bill passed by the GOP legislature that would have allowed concealed weapons in schools, churches, etc.

The NRA finally issued a statememt today, which included:

"...The NRA is prepared to offer meaningful contributions to help make sure this never happens again.

The NRA is planning to hold a major news conference in the Washington, DC area on Friday, December 21."

The New York Post (!!!!) has posted an editorial strongly in favor of more effective gun control legislation. (For those of you outside of NYC, this is the print journalism equivalent of Fox News--also owned by Rupert Murdoch)

fingerlakes what exactly have I lied about? I'm sorry i have a more interesting life than you and am not sheltered, but just because you don't believe me doesn't mean I'm lying. I mean you didn't even know there were a lot of illegals in non-border states, so you must not get out much. So why should you even be talking about something you clearly know absolutely nothing about?
Why is it so hard to believe that I've been to a machine gun shoot? I live in a state where things like that are common place. And that my teacher had a concealed carry permit and may have brought her gun to school? Why is that so hard to believe? It made national news when it happened.

Would you like another one? They're not hard to find, if you type in "gun control vs crime rates" into google there dozens of articles proving you are wrong, or do you just ignore those articles and look for ones that agree with your point of view?

This one cites FBI statistics as proving that now there are more states where residents are allowed to get concealed carry permits, the crime rates has gone down significantly since there were only a few states who allowed it.

You all seem to be confusing assault rifles with automatic weapons, but that's to be expected from people terrified of guns who are told their whole lives that guns are horrible and are never used for good.
