What I meant to say is that Michele Bachmann has announced that she will not seek re-election to Congress. Of course, I'm sure she's headed for a much more lucrative career at Fox, but still.

If Becky Leeman's Mom can rig an election there, it wouldn't surprise me that Bachmann could get away with something like this.

Minnesota has a democratic supermajority in-state, two of the most progressive Democratic senators in congress, and passed gay marriage. Please don't judge the whole state by one representative from a conservative district. (And remember that Bachmann was *barely* re-elected last term and likely would have lost or again won very narrowly if she stood in 2014).

There are rumors that Bachmann is interested in running for senate. Bachmann vs. Franken: can you imagine how much fun that would be?
