Dining at the Waldorf?

Dining at the Waldorf?

Just saw a feature on Eyewitness News about a German tourist who found a used tampon in his spinach while dining at the Waldorf. The guy was rushed to a hospital immediately.

This really sickened me because I had lunch at the Waldorf about a month ago. What could possibly have been in my meal?

I posted it because it's serious stuff. The German guy has already been tested for hepatitus and has been advised to be tested for AIDS in 2 months. What a way to spend a vacation in NYC!

Who is trying to be funny? I am dubious that it isn't a scam by the German Tourist.

edited to add: The article on Eyewitness News website said it was in his steak.

It happens when some tourist just happens to be carrying around a used tampon just waiting for the proper moment to discover it.

He had it in his mouth and tried to chew it?! Am I hearing this correctly?! That...is disgusting beyond belief...

...but at least they can test it and find out who's it is!

"You have two kinds of shows on Broadway – revivals and the same kind of musicals over and over again, all spectacles. You get your tickets for The Lion King a year in advance, and essentially a family... pass on to their children the idea that that's what the theater is – a spectacular musical you see once a year, a stage version of a movie. It has nothing to do with theater at all. It has to do with seeing what is familiar.... I don't think the theatre will die per se, but it's never going to be what it was.... It's a tourist attraction." Stephen Sondheim

Well, considering the one on Saturday was cut early, the one Sunday was cancelled, and we were just informed the lead was fired...

It's should be a strange night.

This is so gross, regardless of it being made up or not. Seriously, if you are going to pull a fast one like this, at least make it more believable.
