I like to think I'm pretty much the same on and off the board.... though I'm definitely more hyper and bouncy in person. You'd have to ask those I've met :)

I'm quite shy when I first meet people... open up slowly. I also don't do very well in large gatherings, even when I know most people there. My limit is like 5 or 6 people. Any more than that and I start to clam up...

2. I met jrb_actor in person, and he's just as friendly as I would have expected him to be. Lovely fellow.

3. I've talked with bythesword84, CATSNYrevival, and son_of_a_gunn25 on the phone, and they're all the wonderful people that I was hoping that they would be. I once got a voicemail from chinkie azn jai, and he sounds like a nice guy as well.

I wasn't so much referring to myself as much as I was referring to all straight men who enjoy theatre. Luckily there are straight men who love theatre because many women complain about not being able to find them.

I had the pleasure of meeting a BWWer last week and it was fantastic, and as if we'd met a million times before. We were even comfortable enough to smack each other's asses as if we'd known each other forever. (Okay, perhaps that ass-smacking was a bit one sided.) I was afraid it would be awkward, even though we'd formed a close online friendship, but it wasn't awkward in the least.

I was also supposed to meet two other BWWers in SF but due to time constraints, I couldn't make it on time. I hope I'll be coming back to SF later on this year though (I really loved it there), so I hope it'll happen soon!

I think in person, I'm similar to how I am online, except more sarcastic, serious and reserved at times. (Believe it or not, sometimes I'm even "smart".) I don't think people would be able to recognize me in person unless they've interacted extensively with me online. But I can't wait until our U2 powwow in October to put more faces to names!
