Ears twice, but I let one set close up. I'm thinking that I have enough holes in my head without ading to the mix. :)
No needles, but done by a gun-type thingy that they mark the spot and shoot the post in - I guess it's kinda like a staple gun.
I looked that up too, and OWWWW, EWWW. As a sidelight: I used to work as an ER registrar, and in the summer, we would get quite a few people in due to fishhooks embedded in various body parts, INCLUDING, well, a very sensitive male part. Sort of an inadvertent lorum. :)

One in each ear. Used to have three in one ear and four in the other (teenager of the 80s) but I let all tht close up.
One of my younger brothers has his septum pierced. He looks like a bull.
Is lorum one of those things I shouldn't google at work? I don't know what it is, but don't want to get redflagged for looking it up in the office.
What are the loops in the earlobes called? The ones you can see through?
I am feeling very old and out of touch right now...
