I named everything Herbert when I was 4. I had a hampster named Herbert, I even named his wheel Herbert. I was a pretty weird kid.

My mom pierced my ears when I was 8 months or something like that... I never wear earrings so it's kinda pointless but its nice to know, should I want to wear them the options open. I remember in my 13year old hellish days I remember not speaking to my mom for over a week because I told her I never wanted them pierced and "would never forgive her for putting unnecessary hold in my ears that I didn't want." I was such a brat...

no piercings. When I was a kid I had my ears pierced but they did it with a too-small size and one night they went inside my earlobes. Bad story.

Then in college I pierced my lip. That was hot, I loved it. But then when I came home and tried to get my waitressing job back they were like "uhh family restaurant" and I was like "fine, bitches" and that was that.

You should just put in earings once in a while to make sure the holes don't close up...in case there is a time you want to wear them.

I have one piercing in each ear, but in my right ear I also have my cartilage pierced. I've always wanted to get my belly button pierced, but I have to get rock hard abs before I'd do that

Two holes in each ear...Had the ears peirced when I was a baby, and am I ever grateful. I didnt work up the nerve to get a second hole till my 21st birthday. Go me!!

I have 4 in each ear, plus the cartilage on the right side, my belly button, and my right nostril.

I wore a stud in my nose up until today, now I have a hoop. It's pretty funny seeing the preppy girl in pink turn to show her right side, and BAM! there's the hoop haha.

1 in left ear, 1 in right ear, 2 left cartilage, belly button, and tongue ring.

LilDiva, along those lines... I love all the "you don't seem the type to have a tongue ring!" People know I'm a Christian and after talking to them for a while they see my tongue ring and they flip out. Like you can't be a Christian and have a piercing. Even my preacher's wife was cool with it, she was just like "oh! Didn't that hurt?!"

I want my nose and eyebrow pierced, but we aren't allowed to have facial piercings where I work. Family store. Not supposed to have my tongue ring either, but I work in an office so I keep it in.

Oh, and for the person considering piercing their tongue, let me offer my advice. It is one of the most dangerous piercings so be smart about it. Go to a professional. Follow all the cleaning directions. Don't take the original barbell out until it's healed. I know it sounds obvious but there's so much risk of infection. I've had mine for over 2 years now with no problems, thank God.

Only one in each ear. Someone would have to pay me tons and tons of money to get any other piercings. I would never consider it. I'm deathly afraid of needles, and I'm just not a fan.

I used to have a ton in my ears, my belly button, nose, and eyebrow down. Yeah, it gets kinda tired after a while and you just don't care about them. Save your money I say....

Teebz, about the tounge--what was the pain factor on that? I mean, did it hurt a lot? Was there swelling? I know it's a pretty dangerous procedure if not sterilized and taken seriously, I've heard of people getting rushed to the ER because of that.

The actual piercing didn't hurt.


But the following three days were HORRIBLE. You talk with a lisp, you can't eat that much, and your tongue is swollen immensley.

The place I went to was some small shop on 8th and 6th-I made sure they took stuff out of the packages and stuff.

See, you're smart! I too would make sure everything was new and sterilized and everything. I kind of thought the aftermath would be worse than the actual piercing.

It definitley is.
Overall, if you're thinking about getting it-my advice would be dont.

Its extremely overrated and annoying. I always wind up biting it while eating. One time I swallowed it and it always falls out.

I'm taking it out this week I think.

The most painless was eyebrow. It didn't hurt one bit before or after.

I'm definitley scared to get my septum because my cousin said he passed out when they did it. =[
