So, I have to ask: anyone here like Classic Who? I got started watching Doctor Who because of the boyfriend, who grew up watching the Tom Baker Who stories on PBS as a kid. We've watched quite a few classic Who stories together, and I watched the First Doctor Retrospective when it aired. LOVE the First Doctor!
The funny thing is that when I was an undergrad, Doctor Who was wildly popular among my friends, and they couldn't sing Tennant's praises enough. I stayed out of it then because I thought the whole thing sounded weird. Fast forward to today, where I just finished watching the Eccleston series and am about to start on the first season with Tennant. And I am currently reading the new novel with the Second Doctor, and though I haven't seen many Troughton stories yet, it's quite good.
Annnd that's my rant for the day.

My favorite of the "Classic" Doctors is Pertwee followed by Troughton. And congrats Matt Smith :)
