I think we might get another season. Tvbythenumbers still has it listed as a toss up for renewal or cancelation which is a good sign. We'll know in the next few weeks what's happening, though.

I actually enjoyed last night's episode more than Comparative Religion from the first season. There's no way it can hold a candle to the other two Christmas Episode, but since they are two of my favorites that isn't exactly surprising. While a 5th Season with Harmon back would be an impossible dream, I'd take anything at this point. I think the last few weeks have shown great improvement and would love to see it last a little longer.

Meh. Origin stuff is always dicey, and it bugs me when history has to be rewritten to explain flashbacks (Friends was notoriously bad with this). I really don't like that it turned out Troy DID remember Annie from high school and that what she said to him was what made him decide to do that keg flip/stand/whatever.

So Chang was put up to this by City College. Fine. So when Partner and Houlihan found that fish farmer who does that mean the fish farmer was in on it, too? Or does the conspiracy just go that deep?

I can't believe there could just be one episode left. And I can't believe how little I care. I guess that clusterf*ck this season has ultimately turned out to be will make it easier to say good-bye, but god, I'm really over it. I think that I was extra forgiving with the first few episodes and with the exception of Herstory of Dance, most of this season has been infinitely forgettable.

I'm just left with so many questions that make me wonder if the new showrunners had any idea what they were doing at all. I know that the season has been wildly out of order and I know it's a shortened season, but it was Christmas two weeks ago and now the year is over? K. Remember when Jeff was gonna graduate early? What happened to that? Was this a two semester history class they took? What was the point of having the dean move in next door to Jeff if they really never did anything with it? What happened to the girl Abed met at the Sophie B Hawkins dance? Seriously, if I could remember more about the episodes that preceded this one I'm sure I'd have a million more questions, but as it is, this whole season just seems regrettable now. I just noticed that nobody even posted a thing about last week's episode.

ETA: I just read something about the finale, and it seems this season only covered one semester.

I like shows that have a definite, fulfilling end. Smash started off with the creation of Bombshell, and it may end with it at the Tonys. Community started with the first semester and the formation of the group. It seems right to end it with graduation. I'm sure they can find fun stories and adventures for the post-grads, but why?

But, how can they start a semester, have a Thanksgiving and Christmas episode, and then finish the semester a couple of weeks later?

So we had Jeff and Pierce graduate, homages to Terminator and The Matrix, dark timeline characters, mostly naked Joel McHale.... And PAINTBALL !!

I didn't hate it at all. In fact, I liked it a lot. But if THAT is going to be the series finale, then I hate it.

If I win Powerball, I promise to use my winnings to buy us another, Dan Harmon-helmed season. You have my word!

I'm still feeling ambivalent, though I would like to see the five remaining study group students graduate.

And if they do order a new season, we should probably count on seeing it in the winter of 2014.

Honestly it is a community college. People don't necessarily go there for their immediate AA degrees. The character back stories have them being there long than 2-4 years makes sense.

I think Go On's cancellation makes their renewal status very good.
