I think last nights episode was, hands down, the worst episode in all 4 seasons of this show.
It was a little boring, right?
Although I liked the use of "Macguffin"

It was just awful in every single way.
If they canceled the show after last night, I would totally understand why.
The other documentary episodes were so good, too

I didn't think it was terrible, but I didn't think it was great. Originally I thought that they'd solved the Chang problem by turning him into Kevin, but alas not.
The Veronica Mars thing makes me wonder if we could Kickstart another season.
If it's going to be anything like last night's, it's not even worth it. Seriously, I hated it that much.

We're gonna buy Dan Harmon back, too.

So what did everyone think of tonight's episode? I liked it a lot.
I won't get to watch it until tonight.
When is the Christmas episode? The Thanksgiving episode was weeks ago, and in traditional non-Greendale schools, winter break is only two or three weeks after that.

NBC is showing them out of order this season.

I'll have you know that when the writer says "dozens of comments, most hostile," she is referring to your own Mrs. Stone.
KSDK's vendetta against 'Community' continues
Can stations just choose not to air a show "just because"? Does hat joy violate some rule they have with NBC?

I don't really know. They do it about twice a season, and they never respond to any complaints. It's very strange. And they wait Monday at 1 am to show it, but it always runs late, or sometimes not at all. I hate them.
Aside from issues of censorship--the only way an affiliate technically can not air a tv show if it still wants to belong to a network is if that show falls below a pre-determined rating point. I know as a soap fan, many claimed that one reason Guiding Light did so badly in its last few years was because many markets simply didn't air it for that reason--or would schedule it on at 1am, etc. (Even New York where it was filmed would air it an episode behind in the early morning.)

Any idea what department at NBC Universal I'd complain to? I'm just not sure who to contact.
I'm not sure, but it does seem like something either they just aren't aware about, or are turning a blind eye to.

Although, your comment about low ratings makes me wonder if Community's ratings are low enough that it doesn't matter.
At any right, my affiliate can eff itself. I'm going to torrent NBC shows from now on.
You should call NBC (main desk, even) and ask what department you should talk to about it. Do you have On-Demand to watch it, though?

I do. I just resent not being able to watch it the night it airs.
I totally get it. For some reason my DVR didn't record it last week and I had to wait until the next day to watch it On Demand. I was so pissed I wanted to call Time Warner and scream at them. But I do that every other day for one reason or another, anyways.

I should amend that to I resent not being able to legally watch it the night it airs. Hulu and On Demand are fine, but I pay for cable with an NBC affiliate. I should be able to watch the damn show the night it airs. I'd even be less irrirated if they replayed that night, but they can't find any time in their schedule of paid programming and 900 different local news programs to squeeze it in till after midnight on Sunday. And like I said, the Sunday airings always run late (and in the case of this one, it's still not even on the guide, so unless you manually set your dvr, it's still not going to record), or not at all. There was a preempted 30 Rock in November that was supposed to be aired 12:30 am on Sunday and it never aired at all.
