I don't know. Spying on people seems kind of cheap.

I think the direct approach is the best. Not using a website to hurt someone.

Calvin, my thought exactly . . . though truth is a defense to a libel lawsuit. But if people are making things up about these guys and posting them, they can definitely be sued for libel.

Can they figure out who is specifically posting the stuff? IP addresses, I know. But if you go through another program, like AOL, it doesn't give your IP. Let's say, just for gits and shiggles, that I were to go on there and made up a BUTT LOAD of things about my ex girlfriend's new man. How would they know it was me if I posted annonymously? (I swear on everything holy that I haven't and wouldn't. He's a great guy. The idea makes me a little too happy, though.)

While I understand the temptation to post on something like that site (truly I *do* ... I once found solice in imagining myself hanging my ex's underwear outside with a big red letter "A" on each pair for the world to see), the act of actually doing it strikes me as being pathetically vindictive. It is a board full of women who have chosen to view themselves as a victims, rather that to understand that it almost always takes two people to create a problem relationship...and if it didn't, the woman had remarkably bad instincts to get involved with such a creep to begin with.

Sorry to be a stick in the mud in a fun thread, but this site really bothers me. Hmmmmm...might be a good topic for the serious discussion of the day....
