I'm trying but the website sucks......argh! This is why I usually wait weeks after things come out so I don't get sucked into days like today....

I am trying but can't get past a certain point on the site. The continue button doesn't work on one of the pages. Click it and nothing happens.

I was at the AT&T Store for 2 hours already. They're having a nationwide system failure because of everyone trying to buy it. You'd think they would have anticipated this. They just decided finally to do manual orders and let us all know when they're processed. Such a frickin' mess!

I think this happened two years ago with the launch of the iPhone 3G. There were so many people activating their phones and people updating firmware that the system crashed, and it wasn't fixed until 3 A.M. the next morning. I'm surprised this is actually happening again.

If you all have an iPhone already you can just download the apple store app and preorder it in like a minute.
Personally...I can't wait until the Windows 7 phone comes out so I can get rid of this thing.

I've been trying on the apple store app and it keeps telling me the server is busy and to make an appt with an apple specialist.

Picking it up at the store on 6/24 is going to be the same hassle as today, since by just reserving the pick up you will have to go through all the AT&T contract crap. And AT&T is bound to crash that day too. No win situation really, but yelling at my computer is better than yelling at stupid people in the store that will annoy me, lol.

I lucked out two years ago in a tiny window of opportunity between crashes. The reason I want to go to the store is so they can set it up and transfer my contacts and whatnot from my old phone before I leave the store. Also, the stores are opening at 7am, so the early hours will only have the East Coast accessing the networks. We'll see how bad it goes, I guess.

I got my phone about 5 or so months after the craze. I had to wait a few days for the shipment to come into the AT&T store, but no biggie.
If I ever do get through and get it shipped - I will be able to transfer all my contacts and that stuff via iTunes right? I don't use the phone too much outside of texting and a few other things, and only connect it to iTunes when I know a big software push is coming so this is all new to me, lol.

Do you all know if it will ARRIVE at the place it is shipped to on June 24th or if it just ships on that day? I can't decide if I want to pick it up in store or have it shipped...
