Today my sister and I stumbled upon a lone purple case of Dr. Pepper, only to be suddenly suprised by a new flavor that we had never heard of before. Berries and Cream pictures show raspberries, even the cans are purple. However, I'm worried that I might not like it, so I'm afraid to try it. I'm working up the courage.
My mother-in-law said it was nasty. I love the Regular and Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper, though
I, on the other hand, love it. It's my favorite of the Dr. Pepper (diet) flavors.
Really? I may have to try it.
omg, they make it in diet too????? they didn't have that, damn it sucks living the middle of nowhere.
I stopped at a large grocery store earlier and they didn't have it at all. I like it enough that I plan to make a special trip to the A&P where I bought the first box and stock up.
And it's a regular cola color...not red, like you might expect.

I'm slightly frightened by all of the new Dr. Pepper flavors. Dr. Pepper is my favorite soda. I did find a bottle of regular Cherry Vanilla, and I'm working up the nerve to try it.
just saying, but diet sodas make you gain weight and are not as tasteful as the regular kind.
not trying to be mean but it is a true fact.
How exactly do diet sodas (with 0 calories) make one gain weight???
Not true, Dre. I was drinking "Normal" sodas for years and gained so much weight. As a part of my weight loss, I decided to drink just Diet drinks instead of the "normal" kind and lost a pretty good amount of weight.
Starletta--Try it! It's good.
Ooh, this sounds so good! I'll have to try it! I'm a little reluctant, though. I thought Raspberry Coke sounded amazing (I'm obsessed with everything raspberry) and it turned out to be awful. Hopefully this is better!
I'm still recovering from my loss of Crystal Pepsi and that happned like 10 years ago, damn soda companies keep screwing with peoples emotions

I really want to try this new Dr. Pepper flavor, but haven't found it at the convenience store yet - guess I have to make a trip to the grocery store to try and find it.
#1Elphie, how did you get to try raspberry Coke? Do you live in New Zealand? I read about it the other day and was so curious to try it.
spider: good for you! but maybe you're a special case. here are some articles i found.

it seems that there is something in diet soda that makes you hungary and so you eat more at a meal.
Jilani, I spent half a year studying abroad in NZ, which is where I tried Raspberry Coke. Do you live there?

I admit to trying the diet and nearly throwing it out a window after my first sip.
Good god, people, it's a freakin' soda, what's to work up the nerve to try? Plus, it's not like you'll break the bank to try it.
That said, I love this new diet version, too, Iflit. But I also LOVE the new Coke Blak so my tastes are clearly not in line with a lot of you posters here.
Oh, bway, I wanted to love Coke Blak so badly. But I just didn't like it. It wasn't gross -- just not good. I have three extra bottles if you want one, as I stupidly bought a four-pack instead of just trying on first.
I bought some last night and thought it was terrible.

Tried some of my coworker's last night because I was too tentative to spend money on something I thought I'd hate. It wasn't bad! It has a very smooth aftertaste. It feels almost like a springtime soda, as odd as that sounds.
