Honestly I kept turning my TV on and off because I thought it was something with that. It was especially nightmarish when the girls would scream. Hopefully the rest of the season isn't like that.

It was nice to see some actual drama on the shows after so many years of US girls acting for the fandom. I do agree that Vivaldi should have been immediately DQed for the phone just like all the girls said. Vanessa has come off as pretty phony the entire seasons and I honestly wouldn't be surprised if she hasn't overexaggerated her sob stories to get the audience to like her. Side note: didn't she look like Alyssa in that rose outfit (mainly the wig)?



Other than that I still think it's between the ex-boyfriends for the win but I'm pulling for Puny.

Puny for the win! And not just because he’s the hottest ever out of drag lol.

And I haven’t said anything about Vanessa because the kids online immediately declare you transphobic if you even try to criticize one of her looks, and honestly it’s just not worth my time to even bother commenting and dealing with that BS. But I’m glad others here see what I see.

This weeks episode is a big WTF!

Acting challenge was rough but maybe it just was lost to me in translation. The real issue was how the queens were voted in to the final.

Fred states that the acting challenge is going to rate very high in the decision of who goes through. If that is the case the decision for the second one through still confuses me. I believe all the judges thought it was really bad but in this case they really must have rated the runway a lot higher than the acting challenge.

I really didn't agree with the queen that was sent home.

SO difficult to discuss without using spoilers but maybe in a day or two we can really discuss it more.

I think the expectation is that if you're reading this thread you came to discuss the events of the show so spoilers should be expected. 

It truly was a real head scratcher of an episode. Fred was making it seem like Puny was going to be lip syncing then all of a sudden...she won. They really didn't seem to like anyone's runway outfits except Vanessa and that's the only reason she was safe even though her acting was horrible. 

I started off loving this season and being super into all the contestants but after Vivaldi's cheating that she wasn't held accountable for and Vanessa's piss poor attitude I'm liking it less and less. Puny is the only real choice to win the show.

Honestly, Vanessa just rubs the wrong way. It's like she throws shade because feels like she needs to? It doesn't feel like that's her personality. It all just feels very put-upon. And the fact that she keeps getting rewarded, I don't get. And then the lip-sync... I'm sorry, Vivalid was DEAD in the face and doing death drops for no reason. And the queen with the most badges went home? huh? Dumb. It should have been against Puny and Keta. Sad. Vivalid is apparently the wig artist for Fred, no? So maybe she guaranteed a finale spot?

The whole shaving her head for the finale was just another example of how everything she does is calculated. Such a poor choice for a winner.

Speaking of hair, it was an interesting choice to have Fred wear a VERY similar wig to Vivaldi (and even Envy’s looked similar).

The writing was on the wall that they weren’t going to let Puny win when they kept talking about how she’s only been doing drag for two years. I was so confused because it hasn’t been brought up a single time this season as far as I can remember.

But I will say that Fred has maybe become my favorite host of the franchise. He just seems to have fun (like Ru used to) and it makes him really entertaining to watch.

Honestly, all of the International hosts are a lot of fun. I like that Fred is VERY self-depreciating and lets himself be the butt of the joke at anytime instead of just "controlled" times as Ru does.

Though that streak with the international hosts is gonna end with Italy considering their host isn't even a Drag Queen and a gay conservative sympathizer...

Yeah I like Fred and the Spain guy. I feel like on the UK Ru actually talks and gives feedback.
