The 25 Worst Sequels Ever Made
I'm glad they didn't go after Look Who's Talking II. I liked that puppy better than the original.
Sad as I am that I know this, puppy is Look Who's Talking Now. Look Who's Talking II is when he gets a little sister.
Again...ashamed that I know that fact.
Matrix Revolutions was even worse than Reloaded.
I liked Reloaded, hated Resolutions.
Resolutions should be up there...
LOL - I don't go to movies much and apparently that's a good thing. I've only seen one film on that list - the Godfather III film. I really don't remember much about it - pro or con.
Am I the only one who was ratehr amused by Jason Takes Manhattan?
Wow, I'm shocked that "Grease 2" didn't make this list.
and 86, "Jason Takes Manhattan" rather amused me too.
Thou I was praying he would have stopped by the Winter Garden, and took in a performance of "Cats"
I truly think My Girl 2 should be on there. That is one movie that NEVER should have had a sequel.
I actually LOVE look who's talking II. I don't like 1 very much, and 3 is eh.
Mikey's kid voice: Hi Julie. I'm gonna be your big brother and love you so much!
Julie's kid voice: Who's this ***hole?
LOL

Wow, I'm shocked that "Grease 2" didn't make this list.
Me too! I was totally thinking that as I was reading through the magazine yesterday. Also, Highlander 2, and Exorcist II: The Heretic.
Love that The Next Karate Kid made the list, though.
Ha ha, yes, the real "puppy" one is the third one...THAT one was bad.
Wow, puppy isn't a hip term, is it?
I'm just so glad to see that Phantom Menace made the list. What utter crap.

I fell asleep during both the Matrix sequels and couldn't begin to tell you what the hell the plot was to either.
While Sofia Coppola is execrable, there are some decent moments and set pieces in Godfather III.
Oceans Twelve was a blur.
Batman & Robin and Stayin Alive were actually entainingly bad camp. If forced, I could probably sit through them again and laugh myself silly.
In the article, they explain that they picked Matrix Reloaded over Revolutions because Reloaded was such a nosedive from the "brilliant" first one.
Has anyone ever seen Return to Oz?
I actually found it quite good.

I liked Star Wars: Episode I!!
EW picked Reloaded over Revolutions because it was the starting point of great disappointment after the brilliant first film. And clearly the brothers couldn't tell you what the plot is either as they completely ****ed those two films up.
Their comments for each film are pretty freaking funny!
highlights:
Legally Blond 2: "Saddest of all is when poor Bob Newhart is forced to deliver 'Fo' shizzle my ezzle." Jesus wept."
Phantom Menace: "Neeson save the life of Gungan minstrel Jar Jar Binks and it all goes to hell from there"
Weekend at Bernie's II: "Silverman stops to consider the morality of what they're doing: 'We're going to hell.' If only."
Staying Alive: "a disaster of such epic proportions they should've handed out HazMat suits and Cipro when you entered the theatre...he lands a part in Satan's Alley--a show so cheesy it looks like Bob Mackie throwing up on Starlight Express."
I heart Return to Oz
Oh Staying Alive is GOLD! It's got and Cynthia Rhodes for Pete's sake! I <3 Cynthia "Penny from Dirty Dancing, Lead singer of Animotion in 1989 & Mrs. Richard Marx" Rhodes!
A bad horror sequel is Halloween III: Season of the Witch...it is totally different than the rest of the series as it revolves around a killer halloween mask factory and is not about Michael Myers.
I actually really enjoyed the sequel to Annie.

Legually Blonde II was just awful. I saw it in theaters with my college cousin, and it was so bad I really wanted a refund after seeing it.
