Apparently it was felt down to SD and even a little in LV

Why is a 5.6 earthquake east of LA national news? aren't there actual important things going on in the world?

Posted: 7/29/08 at 2:50pmHow long did it last? The 6.8 in Seattle in 2001 went on for over a minute and it felt like an eternity.

Borstal - nowhere near that long, at least not here (and we're not that far from Chino Hills, actually.) Getting a little after-shock stuff, but minimal.
YWIW - I wouldn't have liked being up that high

It was just a shock over here - but I am up high. We swayed for a bit after the initial jolt and were like "holy hell".
Being up 27 floors is not fun during an Earthquake.

It was collected seismic pressure from L. Frank Baum turning over in his grave after each performance of WICKED.
No, seriously, it is God's punishment for the special rights for queers thing.

Posted: 7/29/08 at 2:53pmIt's all karma, papa - which also makes me think we haven't had a quake here since then, borstal.

I actually tried to give you a call right after, and it just rang with no answer.
It is probably clogged from over-usage.
