"Lighten up, Jane"
I can't help it. Your blatant exaggeration and relentless snark about this film were too much to ignore.

You're so overwhelmed by them that you chose to ignore the concrete examples and clear explanation I supplied about what I find objectionable about the film.
Glad you dug the film. You're far from alone.
I've never read the novel but now that it has been brought up and the many differences in it from the film I am interested in reading it.

Yeah, I'm wanting to check it out again, too. I recently re-read Ballard's HIGH RISE, one hell of a book.
HIGH RISE - - - now that's an interesting novel that hasn't made it to the silver screen (yet).

HIGH RISE -- I shudder to think of what they'd do to it. Give it to Zack Snyder, no doubt.
I recall they tried once and that Nicolas Roeg was attached to the project.

Let's put it this way - there are ways to express your opinion other than to go overboard with the heavy handed snark that you used. One would think you had some deep seated personal issues with the film.

Resorting to personal attacks based on my perceived tone of voice rather than actually dealing with the concrete examples and clear description of my issues with the film could be considered indicative of some deep-seated personal issues on your part, too.
They're just opinions, darlings. Some are more strongly worded than others. Feel free to block nasty old me if you don't like it.
The film is on Cinemax today at 1:20, if anyone would like to see this excellent film.
