Didn't he also have a bad car accident that did damage to his face?

Not that I know of. there aren't any scars. Hmm, unless you're thinking of Mark Hamill.

He did have a bad accident and was in a coma, but I don't think there was damage to his face.

OH! Thanks for the link. It seems he's gotten some decent work that I wasn't aware of. I'm happy for him.

My favorite is still ITS MY PARTY. That one makes me sob like a baby every time.

I don't know that one, Jordan. How about Star 80?

It surprises me too that he'd be in something like Human Centipede. The last I remember him in was a sitcom about 10 years ago with Sara Rue from Popular. His IMDB page is more packed with current work than anyone I can think of. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000616/ But they must be all tiny parts?

I remember him from his much-touted-at-the-time movie debut in KING OF THE GYPSIES co-starring Judd Hirsch, Susan Sarandon, Sterling Hayden, Shelley Winters, Brooke Shields, Annie Potts and Annette O'Toole.

Really, how can he do that centipede film unless he was desperate. I"m disappointed.

I don't think he ever had a monster hit like John Travolta, Richard Gere or Mickey Rourke (9 1/2 WEEKS was huge abroad) that pushed him into the upper echelon. It is interesting that someone like Tarantino wouldn't write a part for him.

I remember him from Star 80 and Pope of Greenwich Village.

He's marvelous in the underrated STAR 80 and, to me, absolutely unwatchable in POPE OF GREENWICH VILLAGE. He's been in the recent Dark Knight things, and does quite well in them, I think. None of the scenery chewing that made POPE such an ordeal to sit through.

Jane,
I worked with Eric Roberts on a film called Rude Awakening. In the workplace he is a very warm and generous man. I just think he has made some very bad career choices. If you look at his IMDB you will see what I mean. I am hoping he gets his Mickey Rourke comeback. He is a good actor.

I loved him in The Coca-Cola Kid and It's My Party, but he sort of faded away until his semi-comeback on Less Than Perfect. He does have a damn prolific career, though. Looks like he'll say yes to just about anything.

I've always had a huge crush on him. He does make some very odd career choices, though. He seems to pick scripts Uzi style. Just take anything thrown at you and hope one will be good.
Pretty pretty please don't you ever ever feel like you're less than f**ckin' perfect!

Scallion, he's one guy who got handsomer the older he got.
Wish I could post pictures the way you do. Sometimes it works for me, sometimes not.
