From the Boston Marathon official twitter feed:
"There were two bombs exploded near the finish line in today's Boston Marathon. We are working with law enforcement to understand what exactly has happened"

Police are saying they are still finding unexploded devices.

As of 15 minutes ago, the Boston Marathon individual runner tracker was up and running, so if you know someone who was running, you can at least see if/when they finished. Obviously it's no guarantee they're safe, but it'll give you some idea of where they might have been. (And I hear cell/text service is a nightmare so it might be a while before you hear from friends and loved ones.)

Lives have been lost and reports are that people are still in danger as they are finding non-detonated devices. Perhaps you could stop trying so hard to be "edgy and funny" and just keep your idiocy to yourself?

I just read a tweet that indicated that an AP Reporter on TV says the families from Newtown were in a VIP section near the explosion but fortunately no one was reported as injured.

This Marathon was dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Newtown shooting. ugh.
