FREE 1 yr old, mint condirtion, Raymour and Flanigan couch, orig. 900.00 Modern, cool style, linen/chenilley type beige fabric. 89" long, 37 " deep.

Hardly ever used. I am buying a new leather sectional.

Craigslist several times under "manhattan, couch, midtown west. Listed for 300 or OBO.It's got a long curved back and arms.

Let me know. My midtown west bldg. has a freight elevator to the street.

I'll try and find the CL link. I didn't just join the other day. My tinymagic acct. got screwed up and I had to re-tregister. Give me a few minutes. thanks. Some of the lookers had to bow, cause the size of the couch was wrong for their apt

I originally listed it for 300.00 , now I'm giving it away, hopefully to someone who really needs it.

Yes. It says that plainly in the link, and there are other reasons why they might not take it - but OP said "mint condition" so I thought it was worth passing along.

I worked at the 17th st. Housing Works for a couple of years. Besides the occasional scandal about mismanaging money, etc. it's a good charity. I think they get the best stuff. People like David Geffen would give us all the furnishings from his apt. whenever he redecorated. Their seasonal special sales are terrific, but pretty expensive. They are very picky about what they take.

Not all of it goes onto the floor, though, as back room workers manage to confiscate some of the good stuff as soon as it comes in.

I'm all for public activism but why was the beautiful couch sent to prison in the first place and why do we feel it is innocent and should be freed?
