1. Delta vs Manila: How incredible was their lip-synch??
2. Mimi vs India: come on, Mimi!
3. Yara vs Alexis: This one brings a tear to my eye every time I watch it
Regarding Willam: Does anyone know why exactly he was eliminated? I know he broke rules but apparently meeting with his husband every so often was not the final nail in the coffin.

And I watched Mimi on the Elimination Lunches and she's very smart.
If you have Spotify listen to Xelle's The City! It's beautiful.
Favorites by season? Season 1 would have to be Nina because she was the only one who didn't come off as a colossal bitch. Season 2 would be Jujubee even though I wanted to smack her anytime she would would out with that short dirty blonde wig. Season 3 I've gotta give it to Manila.
Season 4 is where it gets hard so there's a few for me here. Willam because it's ****ing Willam and everything he touches is gold. The rest are Latrice, Chad, & Sharon. They should have been the top three because PhiPhi is an annoying ass hat. Season 5 I was in it for Jinkx, Alaska, & Detox. Honorable mention to Alyssa for being so damn entertaining.
Regarding Willam: Does anyone know why exactly he was eliminated? I know he broke rules but apparently meeting with his husband every so often was not the final nail in the coffin.
He said he broke A LOT of rules and saw behind a lot of the "reality" of it and didn't shy away from saying what goes on behind the scenes. Season 5 reportedly had a lot of crackdowns on the girls because of Willam. The producers hold no hard feelings toward him though because he's always at their Drag Race sponsored events, appeared on an episode of All Stars, Drag U, Season 5 Clip show, was invited to the finale of Season 5.
May I say something? Ripping your wig off should be an immediate loss during the lip sync. It reeks of so much desperation like you can't sell the song without relying on the shock value? I mean Sharon of all people relied on shock value for ONE Runway and it was appropriate.

JuJubee
Manila Luzon
Nina Flowers
Willam
Jinkx Monsoon
Alaska
Latrice Royale
Raven
As for least favorite: Roxxy and Phi Phi. Yeesh, gals, I know you each had rough upbringings but the ugliness you each brought on your fellow drag-sisters was rough.
I remember during Willam's season that the early reviews on major sites covering the show had Willam in the comments section when people were a little put-off by her early on and found her 'show credit-whoring' humorous. It made me think that she was not a finalist. I figured she may have had a series of minor infractions that perhaps blew the secrecy cover on the competition.

A-MEN. This has happened at various clubs and parties I have gone to that featured a drag queen. It is a trend that must be stopped. Unsurprisingly, each 'wig-pulling' incident was during a lip-synch of Dreamgirls.

That is so random. I mean I could get it if you're singing 'I Am What I Am', but for any old song? It's embarrassing. And just jumping into an epileptic fit that Milan seemed so commonly poised to do. Just no.
Also, if you're a Latrice Fan and have 2 hours she did an interview about her entire life that is very insightful.

I agree with the ripping with the wig thing. As soon as someone does it, I immediately loose interest. I just don't get why they do it. (On that note: did anyone else know Milan was in Hairspray on Broadway?)

It wasn't really about rule breaking. Phi Phi had a cell phone and other queens were shooting hormones, both of which are against rules and producers knew. It puts Phi Phi's generous gift of her winning phone call to Chad in perspective, doesn't it? He'd been calling whomever he wanted all along.

Phi Phi was some sort of sociopath.

That is always what I thought! Willam was honestly too big to be on Drag Race because he wanted to be there. I've always felt that the Producers put him there to stir up drama and make things entertaining. There was never even a thought in his, or the producers, mind that he would be winning. He was also their fail safe for disqualification for if their chosen queen gets knocked to the bottom as Sharon did.

I always felt it was coincidental the day two queens who were top 3 potential (I personally didn't like Phi Phi but she was the type of queen who does generally do quite well on the show) was the day Willam (who had won the challenge) was disqualified.

How were these queens not disqualified? Willam meeting with his husband doesn't really give him an advantage over the other girls in the competition while hormones surely would..? I'm assuming those queens were Jiggly and Kenya?

Raja -- despite all that Heathers bullsh*t.
Manila -- the same.
Willem -- using the cardboard cutout during the Snatch Game episode was pure genius.
Jinkx -- she laid on the self-pity a bit much, but she was marvelous.
Latrice -- Awesome.
Sharon Needles -- always fascinating and funny.
Least favorites:
RoXy Andrews -- pathetic, her meanness just became overwhelming, I'm sure I'm not the only one who didn't blame her mother for dumping her at the bus stop.
PhiPhi -- meanness will only get you so far.
DELTA WORK -- For sheer awfulness, though, I think my least favorite in the history of the show has to be this unspeakable sack of excrement. Untalented, unfunny, mean and bitter and saddled with enough personal baggage to break an elephant's back, and she was never once interesting or entertaining. Dreadful in every way.

As does Carmen, Sonique and Stacy Layne Matthews. I'm assuming Monica got more attention because she was the first openly trans contestant while competing on the show.
I know I asked this before and got a reply but I cannot seem to find it so: Does anyone know if the queens are briefed on what type of challenges they will be doing ahead of filming? I always find it fascinating every queen (even the non sewers) has a costume related to the theme (e.g: 80's in se 5 or the Spanish runway on the telenovela episode).

It features Michael Musto briefly but we can forgive for that.

Sharon said in an interview that she was always prepared to go as Cher for the Snatch Game and then the moment she saw Chad Michaels, she went back to her car and put it away- hence the quickly thought out, busted genius of going as Michelle Visage.
They definitely know beforehand.

It's my favorite eppie every cycle. The epic wins and terrible missteps are great. Sharon, Jinxx, Pandora, Tatiana were all fantastic, imo.
My faves are, in no particular order:
Sharon Needles
Alaska
Jinxx
Manila
Jujubee
Pandora
Raja
Latrice
Willam
Those that dont quite make the cut, but that I do like:
Chad - great queen and could be sweet, but hated that she trashed Sharon so much and that she felt she was robbed. I also think Raven should've won all-stars.
Raven - Gorgeous drag and pretty funny, but too much bad attitude.
Tatiana - terrible drag, but such a beauty...I loved the way she stood up for herself time and again, especially against the hateful Tyra.

While I agree that Chad was a very polished queen, I think Willam was one of the best performers to ever step into the werk room. She had the look, the attitude, the drive, the humour..everything! I adored her! Had she not been DQ'd, I think she would have made it all the way to the crown!
Latrice was one classy queen who I felt deserved a spot in the top 3 over that malicious Phi Phi.
