Too many, but the two that stand above the rest: Singin' in the Rain and Oz.

Judy and Mickey - hooray! I know, let's close down the street and put on a show!

...so that we can raise money for the orphans to go to the country, and the refugee children to talk to their parents in Britain, and so that they won't close the college, and so that we can put on a really big show.

But we are Babes in armour!!!"

Without doubt 'Mmeet Me in St Louis'. The Halloween sequence has me hooked every time I see that film. And I'm a total sap at 'Merry Little Christmas'. That is the perfect song in context.

You've also gotta love Judy bumbling around in Presenting Lilly Mars... classic!

Gosh this thread is like Prozac for me.

Pattifan,
Garland + "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" =
A big "AndyHardy" sap, as well

BT, "you've heard of Sarah Bernhart
She really was a dilly
But Sarah Bernhart couldn't compare
With a gal who's known as Lily!"

Not the biggest fan of the MGM Musical. However, I really like Kismet, mainly for its great orchestrations, and you can't beat Not Since Nineveh. I also really like In The Good Old Summertime. Garland and Johnson are just so good in it.
ConvinceMe2 is dead. Long live BrendanStryker!

Bells are Ringing
It is ridiculous to set a detective story in New York City. New York City is itself a detective story... AGATHA CHRISTIE, Life magazine, May 14, 1956

Cookie, what can I say? The pix were divine.

Funny story since you posted a pix of Judy with June Preisser. Judy was once asked by an interviewer if June was really a nymphomaniac. Judy quickly replied "Only when you could hold her down."

and Elphaba... :) for Bells.

"Long before I knew you,
Long before I met you.
I was sure I'd find you someday somehow.
I pictured someone who'd walk and talk
And smile as you do,
And make me feel as you do right now."

Those lines weren't scripted kids--that's the way her mind worked.

Speaking of Prince (weren't we?), I just watched a pretty thrilling video...
