My favorite dollar pizza is called Broadway Deli and they have very tasty dollar slices. It is on 45th and 8th. I also like Rays in the 50's which also does dollar slices.

Posted: 7/19/12 at 11:40pm^I just realized I've actually been to Ben's before. I was on the movie sites bus tour a couple of years ago and they stop there because some scenes from Men in Black II were filmed there. It was good pizza.

Actually it is called Off Broadway Deli.
It is very tasty and great for grabbing a cheap fast meal before a show.

The weird thing about this spot is I see tons of Broadway stars there. The last time I was there Michael Cerveris was there as was the guy who plays the Phantom.
Last year I ran into the guy from The Wonder Years there. The dollar pizza is very good I have had $3 dollar slices at slice places on the UWS that were not any better.
It is not as good as John's or Two Boots but if you are trying to make a show and you don't have time it is a very good option. Also at Johns you need to purchase an entire pie. Two Boot's is excellent pizza but it cost almost three times as much.
I always go to Off Broadway Deli. The guy who makes the pizza does a great job.

I just get plain. The economy and my current budget favors dollar slices.
I try to limit my tuna- you know what happened to Piven.
