we are nearing the end of the world, it seems.....

I actually like some of J-Ho's movies. Selena, Anaconda, The Cell, The Wedding Planner, Jack (even though she had a small part in the movie). I don't think she's done enough to qualify as a guest on ITAS, but whatever.

Honestly, for all his puffed-up, humorless fatuousness (he IS Malvolio from Twelfth Night), Lipton is a damn good interviewer. His interview with the usually chilly Spike Lee was nothing short of incredibly moving. I'm sure he'll somehow make J. Lo sound revolutionary and interesting. But really, where's the ITAS with Julie Harris? Phillip Bosco? Vanessa Redgrave?

No, Anthony, it's called the ACTOR'S STUDIO, an institution that has a long and respected history in 20th century American Theatre. Lipton is a sell out and his kiss ass students make me want to hurl. Well it's official, The Actor's Studio has sunk about as low as it can possibly go. I thought they would never be able to outdo their cast of The Simpsons epsiode (I love The Simpsons but not on TAS). Howver, I was proven wrong. I feel a rumbling in the ground. Must be Lee Strasburg turning over.
